The stay was incredible. From the surroundings to the decor, the pictures don't do it justice. And the food was amazing. I could not recommend it any higher

Oasis Eco Camp Lake Elementaita Tents.

PeterRating, 5 stars54 months ago
Chege is a nice host, he responded to our calls, and gave us accurate directions. The waiters are friendly, especially the busy guy who serves customers at the tent area next to the lake. We found the food a bit more expensive to us. Kindly make your packages more friendly to those who may prefer to make their own meals. I can recommend the place to any nature loving person, looking for serenity and ready to connect to themselves. Will be coming back soon.

Safari Tent at INZU Lodge

ElizabethRating, 5 stars95 months ago
We had such a great time here! The view is spectacular, the food is wonderful, and the tent is so, so cosy! The staff are also very helpful - they worked with us to arrange both a boat trip, and a lovely hike through the surrounding hills and villages.

Cozy Aruba bush tent at Masai Mara / Talek river

ArielleRating, 5 stars42 months ago
Amazing Safari lodge. The staff very friendly and helpful and th game drives were amazing. Our guide was knowledgable and made sure we could see all of the animals that they could find. The food was great although expensive and a set price. My only complaint is that we were not told in advance that the lodge only accepts cash or M-Pesa for charges outside of payment for the room which was an inconvenience since we did not have enough cash and could not access M-Pesa

Escape to the outdoors- Nile riverbank tented camp

MarionRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Amazing place to stay with friends. The garden is huge! You are surrounded by nature, with access to the Nile. You can easily go for a swim, kayaking or a walk along the Nile. The staff were very warm and helped us to organise bodas. The place supports community projects which is definitely a plus when booking! I definitely recommend the place!

Punda Milias Nakuru Camp-Banda

JacquiRating, 5 stars76 months ago
This was the second time I was staying at Punda Millias and was glad to return. It's a hidden gem and the staff are super awesome! They accommodated me and my dog and we were well taken care of. Food is fantastic especially the local chicken and the fish. All amenities you need are there and it's nice to relax or bring friends over on the weekend. I highly recommend the place and will be back again.

Banda Island - Lazy Camping - 1

AlexandraRating, 5 stars22 months ago
I had an incredible stay at Banda Island! From check in through the entire journey was perfect- Petra was super communicative and gave very clear directions on how to catch the boat. The boat ride was an adventure but all around easy and comfortable. Banda itself is beautiful, super peaceful, and there is tasty food for every meal. Best of all we’re Doreen and little Petra (Doreen’s daughter) who I got to know over the 3 days I was there and were the absolute best hosts. Highly recommend visiting Banda and id go again in a heartbeat!

Glamping in the Bush

DasRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Allan was a great host who picked us up when we got lost, then served us a great meal and made us feel very welcome right away. He did a great boat tour with us, where we saw hippos, crocodiles and many birds. He and his team are extremely helpful, friendly and fun. For our onward journey, he not only brought our car to a place, so we were able to leave directly from the national park, but also gave us a great tip for our next stop. He also had his money because we hadn't checked that the tank was almost empty... Overall, you're lucky to have met Allan. Recommended as a host at any time. @Allan: Thank you very much. P.S. It is great with Mike!

Campsite near Lake Chala, Taveta

ThijsRating, 5 stars31 months ago
Titus was a wonderful host and so helpful. We had a flat tire on the way from Oloitokitok to lake chala (the road is very rough, you definitely need a 4x4 and even than it is very dangerous). He came immediately to help us out and take us to the nearest tire shop. We would highly recommend!

Hakuna Matata Safari lodge and Campsite

LucasRating, 5 stars33 months ago
We have not just had a good stay with Baraja, we've had the best experience one can ask for when traveling. The tent is in a plot of land overlooking the Rift Valley from above and is as beautiful and tranquil as can be. The night sky is unlike any other that I've ever seen and Baraja and his family have made us feel like we were friends from a long time. They arranged everything for us: transfer from JRO to the lodge and back, a safari in the Ngorongoro crater, a local tour in the valley and Mto Wa Mbu village... All for a fair price and tailored to our needs. We had a chef just for ourselves (we were the only guests). He cooked us three meals a day of delicious, authentic, local, home-made food. At night we would all welcome neighbors and gather around the fire place, chatting and drinking coffee. The tent was very clean and spacious. I can't say the same for the tree house but they let us choose between them. If you go there, you need to be aware where you are and the limitations that come with that. Water and electricity are limited and you need to be ready to take a cold shower. They will provide you with buckets of warm water if you want to shower the "African" way. There was no wifi available when we went but that was fine with us since this was an experience that required to be present. Moreover, Baraja and his family are still recovering from the toll Covid-19 imposed on them. They had to abandon the place and go to Arusha where there were more opportunities. We are only their second guests after abandoning the place for two years. They are slowly recovering and turning the place to an outstanding lodge. Overall, the experience that Baraja and his family provided exceed our expectations. If you want an authentic experience that will help the local community this is it. We went to a more luxurious lodge elsewhere after our stay with him but we always wished we were back there and could stay longer with him. We will come back 100%! And not just one more time...

Bonham Camps @ Soysambu

KimRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Simon’s Camp (Bonham) was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip to Kenya. Myself & my husband were the only guests there and were made to feel so comfortable by Kevin, Albanus & Kelvin. Each one of these men went above and beyond their duty to look after us. Nothing was too much bother. I believe Kevin when he told us that he’s only happy if we as his clients are happy. Albanus is the official chef but he stood aside to let Kelvin cook. We weren’t sure what food to take with us but Kelvin concocted the most delicious amazing meals from the basic ingredients we provided. At Simon’s camp you’ll get an experience that you’ll never forget. The luxury from the mess tent to the accommodation tents speaks volumes. The planning and thought that must have gone into this business really stands out. I really wish we’d had longer here! We will definitely be returning at some stage! Thank you to you all Jack (sorry we didn’t meet you) Kevin, Albanus and last but not least Kelvin.
