Our stay went truly amazing since beginning. Halima and Victoria were so nice and helpfull ! When we couldnt find our own ways, Halima always was able to help us find one. The house was beautiful! Super private, chill, and relaxing. Thank you Halima and Victoria, yoshua also for being such a kind helpfull person aswell at the cottages. We hughly recommend . Asante Sana 😊🙏🏾

the place is clean, clean water, closer to main road. everything as in the pictures, good check in and check out times. I would recommend this for people looking for a secure hosting.

This is an amazing place for a getaway from the busy life of Nairobi. Located on the edge of the Ngong Hills, the scenery here is beautiful and it really is a quiet and serene location. The house itself is spacious with multiple seating areas and multiple bedrooms - the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here (6 people) and wished we would have booked for longer.

Swara ranch was extremely peaceful and beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful which made moving around and getting things really easy for us. We had such a wonderful time, I wish we could stay longer.

Great location close to the lakefront as described. Also there is Carnellys restaurant nearby. Check-in was smooth and the host was responsive. We enjoyed the brunch at the garden area. Overall good stay! Thank you.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

I had a family visit to the facility, and it was one of those memorable vacations. No surprises as everything worked as it's supposed to. The rooms, AC, kitchen, and Internet were all on point. The location is breathtaking from the pool, poolside relaxation, gym, and, more importantly the private access to the beach. The Ola Ola restaurant was also affordable, within the bigger compound, and on point with Swahili Cousine. You don't even have to struggle with utensils..time better spent at the beach. A place to just visit and experience the wonderful side of Kenyan Coast. Dr. FIfi was also very helpful and a great host. Kudos.

Absolutely loved our stay at Home on the Nile. The views from the room were incredible and such beautiful surroundings. David, Hope and all the staff were so, so helpful and friendly. The food was great and lots of local recommendations for things to do. Felt right at home and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Jinja!

Our family had a fantastic stay - the beach was so close, our kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the sunrise/playing card games at the different view points. Highly recommend!

Evie’s cottage was absolutely delightful. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful quiet and relaxed time. The cottage is set up really beautifully and comfortably. Nothing amis. Extremely cozy and welcoming. Elijah was always on hand to help if anything was needed or if we had any questions as was Evie. There are heaps of places to visit and eat at around the area and it’s truly a gorgeous piece of Nairobi. The farm area inside the compound was great to explore and we even got fresh milk milked that afternoon. Absolutely recommend this cottage 100% and we will certainly be back! Evie was absolutely lovely and gave us such a lovely welcome, we felt right at home. Thank you so much!

Thanks Prisca for a wonderful stay at Elwai. We had a very relaxing time. Elwai is a getaway gem that's very welcoming and calm, we greatly enjoyed the views of Lake Naivasha and Mt. Longonot right outside our front door. It was just the escape we needed.

Marula cottage was a wonderful serene place to spend a few days. The staff and their attention to detail was great. We felt really cared for and spoilt. Many thanks to Aleem and Soraiya. We will be back for sure.

We had a great time staying at Paul’s. An excellent base to explore Nairobi in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood. Hosts were very responsive and check in was great. We are looking forward to coming back.

We stayed in Andra’s guest house for three months which felt like a home away from home. Great property and a rare find in Nairobi close to nature. Property is clean and well equipped, comfortable and generally quiet. Access to pool and the garden makes it extra special. Andra and Wilfred were responsive and caring hosts throughout our stay. Will definitely return.

Me and my friends had such a great time staying at Kananu’s place. The space was cozy and had everything we needed, but what really made it stand out was the people. The housekeeping and ground staff were honestly amazing so friendly, supportive, and always happy to help. Being surrounded by nature made the experience even more special. The peaceful environment and beautiful scenery gave us the perfect break from the usual city. Big thanks to Kananu and the entire team for making us feel so welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay. Getting there was quite a distance from the tarmac but the host was kind enough to send us a rider to guide us to the place. A 4wd is highly recommended with good clearance because the car we used had quite some challenges with the underside being scratched on the way there...we were even lucky it hadn't rained that much but its an all weather road. The place itself is very very peaceful, fully off grid. A little pool to coom you off with a sauna adjacent to it. Only challenge were the bees, beatles, wasps and flies....but thats expected being next to the wild. An indoor outdoor experience Will definately be what you get in this place. The hosts were very very helpful especially John.

Overall amazing experience all around. Margaret the cook and cleaning lady was amazing. We really enjoyed the food and service. If you are looking for a secluded place - this is a great one. A couple of things to note: 1) The printed instructions are outdated. None of the beach guides were working there. But it wasn't a problem - we met Amos who did an amazing job. You meet him on the beach. 2) The location is a bit distant from the shops / supermarkets. It is possible to deliver things there but you should think about it beforehand. 3) In one shower there was only hot water and in another shower there was only cold water. Overall, the houses could use a bit of renovation. 4) There was some music coming from the neighborhood that disturbed our sleep on one of the nights. None of the above were major points - overall, the experience was amazing, highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at Mawimbi’s cottage so much, I came back here for a second time! The cottage is clean and cozy and the location is absolutely stunning. Anna, Matteo, Emily and the two Rhodesian Ridgeback are fantastic hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we hope to come back again soon!

We enjoy staying on Victoria House : it is a peaceful place with a beautiful landscape. The house is fully furnished, more than what we need . Thank you Victoria for hosting us.
