Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Greece

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

A true gem with a beautiful view. If you're looking to escape the stress of everyday life, this is the perfect place. The accommodation is set in a beautiful location, close to gorgeous beaches and charming small towns. We had a rental car, which made getting around very easy and convenient. A special mention goes to our host, Antonia. Rarely have we encountered such a kind, attentive, and welcoming host. She truly went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you, Antonia! One small note: the area has quite a few animals, especially stray cats. However, they are completely harmless and won't bother you at all if you simply ignore them and avoid feeding them. If you want to experience the real Rhodes, this is absolutely the place to stay. The 5 Star rating is more than deserved.

The house is beautifully designed and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay—whether for cooking, relaxing, or keeping warm on chilly nights. The fireplace was a highlight for us after long days of hiking and climbing. Eirini gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, which was especially helpful since the road to the house is quite narrow. That said, we managed fine with an SUV (Dacia Duster). The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of hiking trails in the area. After a full day outside, it was great to return to such a cozy and inviting home. We were three adults staying for five nights on a hiking and climbing trip, and the place suited us perfectly. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Eleni’s beautiful Greek house was nothing short of magical. One of the highlights was her generosity in supplying fresh vegetables, eggs & olive oil all from her property. We were treated to several delicious authentic local dishes which reflected the region’s rich culinary traditions, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. The house itself was a stunning example of authentic Greek architecture, with charming details that gave it a unique character. The view was breathtaking—panoramic scenes of the sparkling sea and distant islands. Whether enjoying a meal on the terrace or relaxing with a glass of wine, the landscape made every moment special. This stay was more than just a vacation; it felt like an immersion into Greek culture, thanks to the host’s warmth and hospitality. We had a great time staying at Stavros’ place. He was a great host, always accommodating.

It was a magical vacation. Very clean and bright house, great pool with mountain view. A complete feeling of harmony with nature. The house is perfectly designed, with very good thermal isolation. The best option - come by car. The house is located at some distance from the beach. The nearest beach is one of the best on the island. It is very long and therefore gives a great choice of umbrellas/loungers with a wide range of prices. Special thanks to the owner of the house. Orestis is a true professional. He is always on call. Very friendly and solves problems instantly.

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

The house is very quiet and outside the village. The view over the pool and sea is unique and relaxing. Myrto gives many beautiful and helpful tips for the area, shopping and restaurants. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Communication worked great. We sincerely appreciate it.

This was my fourth stay at this wonderful flat in Thermi/Thessaloniki, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The apartment is always immaculately clean, and it's clear that the owner goes the extra mile to keep everything in perfect condition — it truly feels like a brand-new space every time I arrive. The decoration is tasteful and modern, with a great attention to detail that creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite features is the balcony — it’s spacious, peaceful, and the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or relax in the evening. The flat is quiet, comfortable, and very well-equipped, with everything you might need during your stay. Communication with the host is always smooth, professional, and friendly. I’ve returned four times for a reason — it’s simply one of the best places to stay in the area. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’ll definitely be back again!

Great place. Easy to find, basically in the corner just before the road leading up to the monasteries. Free parking close by. The room itself was squeaky clean and of good standard. Friendly and helpful host. Restaurants in walking distance. Quiet inner yard. Definitely recommended.

Gabrielle is an exceptional host. She was able to give advice on the area so that we could make the most of our stay. Always attentive to ensure that our family lacks nothing (toys for children, adapted bed, etc.). I would recommend the accommodation, it is comfortable and in a peaceful location in the heart of a small village.

Ralou is a lovely host - very welcoming, clear check in/out instructions, and quickly responded to our questions. The apartment met our needs - centrally located, cool (multiple air cons), and peaceful.

Anastasia was very accommodating and responsive! We booked last minute in order to get some sleep between our late arrival and early departure to and from Athens and Anastasia quickly accepted our reservation and was very kind and accommodating even when we got in later than originally planned due to flight delay! The space was clean and the bed was comfy! The apartment was super easy to find and access as well! Great experience and host :)

Rebecca and I had a wonderful time at the accommodation. This is due to the very hospitable nature of the landlord Konstantinos and his parents Stavroula and Dimitros. Everyone was very helpful and gave us great tips for the days on the peninsula. We can definitely recommend the accommodation and will come back ourselves. Thank you to the whole family. The place was totally nice and very clean. The pool and outdoor kitchen were a highlight. All wishes were fulfilled. The apartment is simple and beautiful. The garden is fantastic. Recommended for families 👍🏻

This place is great! The view from the terrace looking up at the acropolis and the agora is fantastic. My wife and I loved having a glass of wine looking at it. The apartment itself is small, but it has all you need. Also the location is near everything (restaurants, bars, historical sites, etc.)

Even better than we expected both the place and the location! George is also wonderful, hospitable and helpful! Magical stay in a heavenly landscape in nature! A full house is recommended! 🙂 And it will definitely be preferred again!

The accommodation was spotless, the hostess impeccable and helpful! The jacuzzi as well as the projector area were wonderful. We had a great time and we will definitely choose it again!

We had a wonderful time in the small tiny cottage in the middle of the olive grove – totally idyllic and perfect for our big dog, who could really flourish there. Lots of space, lots of shade, and we also had a really good time on the loungers and in the beautiful seating areas. Birgid is super warm, always available and has great tips for the area – whether culture or good food. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We stayed at this Traditional Guesthouse and had a really great time! From the start, Γιάννης and Μαρία were very helpful, providing us with clear directions to get directly to the property (I recommend following their instructions on Google Maps). Communication was quick and friendly. The house is really very welcoming and we appreciated the attention to detail. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a relaxing and very pleasant stay!

The house is located in a very good area where it is quiet and peaceful. The house was beautiful and spotless, we have no words! Inside the house has everything you need!! 5 stars with the value of the cabin, it was spotless and fragrant. It was wonderful and a sign of hospitality that they had turned on the air conditioner because of the heat to welcome us. It is a fully equipped penthouse, even for a grill if someone wants, but it also has brochures to order. He also had a pharmacy and many kinds of mosquito repellents. Finally, it was very positive that you could book only one night.
