Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Green Bay

Perfect lakeside getaway! This lakehouse exceeded all our expectations! The property was immaculate and beautifully maintained - you can tell the owners take great pride in their home. Communication was seamless from booking through checkout, and they were incredibly responsive to any questions we had. The hot tub was amazing, we spent hours relaxing in it while taking in the stunning lake views. Having the beach just steps from the backyard was a game-changer for our family. The house had everything we needed and more. The location offers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun activities.

Our family vacation was absolutely what we wanted on Washington Island, and especially at Essa's home! We wanted a quiet, relaxing place, and we definitely got that. We seriously felt like we were on a secluded island....didn't see one person until we drove to the other side of the island! If you are looking for a place to get away from the everyday hustle of life, Essa's place is where it's at. We got up in the mornings and had coffee and read on the 4 season's porch, sat on the beach, played games, watched movies, and had bonfires in the evening. The only bad thing....the week went to quickly!!!!

We stayed at Winding Down for our 25th anniversary. We've been coming to Door County for over 25 years, and we've stayed at some nice places. But this is easily the nicest we've encountered. The space is expansive, but still cozy, quiet, serene and inviting. It is also immaculate. We enjoyed the selections of artwork and the attention to detail throughout the house. At one point we needed James's help with the refrigerator, and he was quick to provide assistance. It was also really enjoyable chatting with him. If the place is available again during our anniversary week, we'd love to return.

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing stay! Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and paddleboarding around the no wake lake. Would love to see how relaxing a winter stay would be.

This was by far the best airbnb stay I have ever had! The house was gorgeous, so well decorated and thoughtful. Had everything we needed from ample towels, amenities, kitchen supplies, bedding etc. The host was so helpful and gave great instructions! We truly did not need a thing during our stay but felt like if we did we would have gotten prompt quick responses. For a group of 5 girls that have been friends going on 20 years this was the most perfect stay for our girls trip. 10000/10 recommend.

Hands down, best place we have stayed! Beautiful yard, incredibly clean and stocked with anything you may need. Space for all of us to sit, eat and relax. Location was wonderful - quick drive downtown, but also far enough away to escape the hustle. With 5 kiddos joining us, we appreciated the unbreakable dishes, ample towels and lots of games and activities - both indoor and outdoor. We explored much of Door County, but could have just as easily spent more time at The Shed with plenty to explore and do.

What a gem! Having an opportunity to be immersed in this setting & taking in the full experience of a home as it was meant to be lived in by FLW is such a treat. The cherry on top was the incredible bird watching. The evening “show” on the boat dock was an unexpected & delightful surprise.

In our 20 years of visiting Door County, this cottage is hands down the best rental we have ever stayed in. The location on the lake with the morning sun pouring into bedrooms and main room is spectacular. Sharing the early morning with Hooded Mergansers, Common Mergansers, Cranes, Pelicans, and a trio of Red Squirrels just outside the cottage was so delightful and better still we had clear blue April skies during our stay to herald spring. The house is so beautifully put together and to such a super high spec, Jennifer has thought of everything, the outdoor space and amenities are wonderful places to sit and enjoy the lake, and the games room in the garage is fun. This cottage is an absolute gem and a 2 minute walk from Coyote Roadhouse for supper. Fun! The Land Trust property at the north end of the lake is just a picture, with lovely easy trails for all ages, well worth a visit. Thanks for hosting Jennifer, we will return!

This is such a gem! We traveled with 2 young children and after a day at Road America it was EVERYTHING we needed. We didn’t get a chance to try to sauna or cold plunge, but the place felt just like home and was so convenient. We can wait to visit again!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

We had a wonderful stay at Tina’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The space had a warm, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. Tina was a fantastic host, she was very communicative, accommodating. She provided clear instructions making our stay super simple. Whether we were relaxing inside or exploring the area, it was the perfect home base. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

This was our second stay at Ken and Rhonda’s. It is still as nice as we remembered. It was very clean- which is always appreciated. Our dogs loved laying outside and listening to the birds. Thank you for a peaceful place to stay up north!

Great Place. Great Location. Be sure to confirm the address before going. The address AirBnB provided took me down dirt roads in the middle of nowhere 15 miles from the actual camp ground. But once you arrive the staff are great and very helpful

Jamie was the perfect host. If we needed anything she was quick to get it to us. The house was beautiful. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly so we didnt get to enjoy the outside much. They do have a cat and dog and I guess I missed that when I rented it and unfortunately I am allergic to many dogs and cats so I had to take allergy. medication while I was there. All and all it was a great experience.

I would give both Kerry and her villa 10 stars if I could. Everything was outstanding and as-advertised. Kerry provided instructions for finding & accessing the house and a helpful and personalized guide to the local highlights well before our visit. She provided all of the information we needed promptly and we felt that she truly cared that we have a wonderful stay. The house is very well designed and Kerry has loaded it with all the amenities imaginable, from the basics to all the extras we could want while on a vacation at the lake. Everything was in great condition, well organized and of high quality. We could not have been more comfortable. Kerry's house is on a beautiful lot above and across the street from Lake Michigan. The grounds were in excellent condition and landscaped to provide a peaceful, pastoral and private setting. We enjoyed watching the Orioles and other birds flocking to the bird feeders off the upper deck. This was the perfect spot for our family celebration.

The best New Years Eve experience with Yana and Jim! They were incredibly responsive and welcoming. Anything we needed or any question we had was taken care of very quickly. Perfect Midwest hospitality. Will be coming back!

My husband and his friend stayed here for a couple days while salmon fishing. They said the beds were comfortable, good amenities, nice hot water for showers and they really appreciated the fish cleaning station. Thanks for the great stay!
