The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Cabin On The Creek

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

This river property is located in Summers County, the southern gateway to the beautiful New River Gorge National Park. The two-bedroom cottage is a perfect getaway for solo adventurers, couples, or a small family. River access to the Greenbrier River is provided via a short walk down a steep but walkable camp road. Sleeps up to 11 across 3 bedrooms — perfect for reunions, wedding parties, and extended family gatherings. Larew Cottage sits in Greenville, WV: 40 min to Hinton and New River Gorge National Park, ~1 hr to Pipestem Resort State Park (zipline, rafting, golf) and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg — a favorite base for football weekends and graduation. A wedding gift to my great grandmother, the Cottage has hosted family for 100+ years. Note: 1.5 shared bathrooms across 3 bedrooms.

This three-bedroom, one and a half bath cabin, fully furnished kitchen with coffee bar, is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy. Downstairs has 1 bedroom with queen size bed. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and one with 2 sets of bunk beds. The Cabin is located nearby the beautiful Greenbrier River in Summers County, WV in a quiet out of the way setting. Come sit by the fire pit (firewood available) and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Amazing mountain views, spectacular sunsets, and privacy here at 3Bears Overlook. Just a short drive to two State parks, and America's newest, the New River Gorge National Park where white water rafting as well as the famous New River Gorge Bridge are. Downtown Hinton is a few minutes away for good food, entertainment, kayaking, fishing, and access to both the New River and the Greenbrier River. Come and enjoy the best of Appalachia.

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023).
