Apartment holiday rentals in Grindavik

Appreciate the last minute booking after another host cancelled on us. Location great to restaurants and the airport. A few repairs needed but did not impact us.

Very friendly and fast communication. Great little apartment for two people. Kitchen is well equipped. You can park right in front of the property in the yard. Supermarket, bakery and restaurants are in walking distance. Highly recommend.

We liked the apartment very much. Leifur is a friendly and helpful host. The bed is a bit small for two people but was still cozy. Can only recommend the apartment.

I don't know where to start. We were tired from an overnight flight and when we got to the apartment we felt so relaxed. Disa is a wonderful hostess and it was such a pleasure to have several conversations with her. She is so energetic and friendly. Skagafell was so comfortable to be in. Phenomenal bed, plenty of hot water and very nice temperature inside. Several times we saw horses go through and saw several herds as we approached our place. You can't go wrong renting this unique place.

Great place. Everything was as described. We felt right at home. The proximity to the airport is optimal. Communication with Sigga was friendly and she responded very quickly. A great start.

The apartment is huge, even bigger than it appears in pictures. It was clean and a convenient location, just a short drive from the airport. We had a late arriving flight and our nighttime check in was easily accommodated. We had a great experience.

Phil’s place was incredible!! Such a prime location truly in the heart of reykjavik!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!! An absolutely beautiful home with incredible amenities. Plenty of rooms and comfortable beds. Towels and toiletries were all provided as well. Appreciate Phil’s consistent communication!! He always responds immediately! Highly recommend it here.

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

We had an exceptional stay at this apartment over New Year’s. The property was perfect for us as a couple, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The apartment was very clean, warm, welcoming, and equipped with excellent cooking facilities, which made it easy to prepare meals for our sightseeing trips. Its central location was incredibly convenient, especially for navigating the roads and icy conditions as first-time visitors. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was a pleasure to communicate with—promptly answering any questions we had. Compared to the hotels and other Airbnb options we considered, this apartment exceeded our expectations, especially as a last-minute booking. Anna was very responsive and the apartment was great. It was in a great spot and I would recommend it here especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again. She also provided many amenities.

New, well stocked accommodations with a gorgeous view. Underground parking was a huge plus. Some construction in the area and not much around. But the stay was absolutely perfect.

The AIRBB was very nice. The bedding and beds were very comfortable, great black out lighting. The location was convenient to downtown and the local coffee shop was a great option for a quick breakfast. The property was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was good communication between us and our host.

What an incredible location! An easy drive to the major natural attractions in Southwest Iceland, but out in the country nestled on a fjord. The tiny apartment is a bit bare-bones, but comfortable and well-maintained. We would definitely recommend this as a peaceful home base.

Great place located a short driving distance to Reykjavík. The unit has everything one could need for a short stay, would stay again for sure!

This location cannot be beat! The apartment was clean, styled well and had everything my group of girlfriends and I need for a week long stay. Kolbrun responded quickly to any inquiries and provided additional towels midweek. Being right in the middle of the shops and restaurants was ideal for easy access to everything the City has to offer. Parking was also not difficult. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The neighborhood is very walkable and there are great restaurants nearby. I would have liked to stayed longer!

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Rósa has a lovely loft on the 4th floor. It has elevator if you prefer to not walk stairs or have luggage. She responds quickly to any needs and offers great recommendations for restaurant and travel around Iceland.

A great stay for our first night. Instructions for cleaning were posted throughout the house (not our favorite for the actual stay, but helpful for checking out). Check in was very smooth.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!

The room is on the street, very close to BSI and Rainbow Street, and the room is also beautiful
