House holiday rentals in Grubine

Tonci's accommodation is a hidden gem. The approach is very steep and due to a bottleneck, it is recommended to use a small car (we rented a VW Polo and a Renault Capture). However, the hardships are definitely worth it! We were greeted around 8:30 pm by Tonci personally. He had provided a small cheese/sausage platter and showed us the apartment. Contrary to the statement that there was no hot water, there was some, you just had to turn the boiler switch. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Up in the mountains, you have a lot of privacy. The nearest neighbors live a good 60m away. Tonci came by about every three days to maintain the pool (refill chlorine tablets and measure water level). While the pool was being refilled, there was time for questions about the surroundings and small conversations. We more than enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this accommodation.

Perfect stay at 17A! The villa is in beautiful surroundings and so peaceful - don’t be put off by the entry road - it isn’t sealed with tarmac as it probably would be in the UK but the villa is worth it when you get there. Car is a must as it says in the villa information on Airbnb - roads are not suitable to walk along. Flew to Split - 45mins/1hr transfer and about 30mins to Split city centre. Eldar was there to greet us and allowed us an earlier check in time. He gave us some local info regarding supermarkets and restaurants which was very useful. The villa was exactly as described and very clean. Beautiful views from the terrace and swimming pool. Outdoor kitchen area was great for bbq. Gym was well equipped and we made good use of it. Omiš is the closest town - plenty of restaurants/activities to book/couple of supermarkets. Eldar was very responsive during our stay if needed and on departure arrived early for us to check out due to early flight time. Thank you for a lovely stay.

In France we have a very well-known novel where the author (Marcel Pagnol) nostalgically evokes the home of his childhood vacations. Well, that's exactly what we found in Iva's house: memories to create for our children. Everything is simple, everything is beautiful, the welcome is perfect, the rooms spacious... in short we spent a (very very) nice family vacation.

Our family's second visit to this beautiful home. And we hope to be lucky enough to come for a third time in the future. We cannot recommend more than that!

We had an incredibly beautiful vacation and a great time all around! We were warmly welcomed at check-in - with a lovingly arranged plate that not only looked great, but was also really delicious. One evening, our hosts even grilled for us and spoiled us with delicious grill plates - that was a real highlight! The accommodation was equipped with everything you need on vacation – down to the smallest detail. There was really nothing missing. And if something was needed, the hosts brought it to us immediately and easily. In addition, there were great restaurant recommendations and always an open ear for questions or requests. The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating and appreciative – you just felt completely comfortable and welcome. We highly recommend this place and would come back any time. Ana and her family are really great hosts. They take care, always ask if everything is good or if something is missing. One evening, Ana's father even brought over fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden. In addition, we were once invited to dinner at their own restaurant. The food was really delicious and the community with them was nice. In terms of amenities, everything is really available. Even more than expected. The location is super nice. It is quiet and you have privacy. The private pool was the highlight for us. We were super satisfied with our stay at Vila Iko and would only recommend it to everyone 😍😍

The place is extremely amazing. The appartement is like 10min with car from center. Note that uber is not working so you need to take a taxi everytime you go to center. The jacuzzi is amazing with a private beach , there is hotel next to it where you can have lunch or dinner and also 15min walk from another place for food, it’s extremely nice if you’d like to have some peace and out of city. I recommend

This place is absolutely like the pictures let you imagine. Peaceful und privat. It was great watching the amazing view to the Sea in the hammock with different colours at different times of the day and night. The apartment was well equipment Kitchen and clean spaces. Spacious parkingspot for even a big car. We're coming back, thanks Marko! 😊

We had a great stay here! Everything matched the pictures exactly. Ria was super accessible, we immediately felt welcome and we got great tips. The area is beautiful, you can easily free your head from everyday life. Beautiful excursion destinations are also easy to find and if you have any questions you can also contact Ria at any time, who has great recommendations!

Beautiful stone house with magnificent view over the sea. Very tastefully decorated. A little off the beaten track - a car is therefore highly recommended. Jovana is a great host and responds quickly. Highly recommended!

The hosts were super warm and friendly. The building is situated in a quiet village and has a beautiful vegetable garden. The kitchen is well equipped and the hosts even helped us out with some special requests. There is a small store, and in summer comes a bakery and a vegetable car frequently. We drove 1,5 hours to a beautiful beach. Thanks for the great hospitality! We will be back!

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful house! It is the perfect place to unwind. We spent a lot of time in the garden reading and enjoying the splendid views or explored the surroundings. There are plenty of walks right in front of the doorstep. Makarska is a 10 min drive by car and has great restaurants and everything else you need. Stipe is a very friendly and helpful host. He provided everything we needed including some great ideas for walks. We would definitely recommend to stay at his place if you love nature and solitude. The only downside: the chimney of the fireplace is blocked by a bee's nest who were very upset. We tried it twice to lit a fire and there was smoke all over the place, even in the bedrooms, especially on the first floor which is dangerous and has to be fixed.

We had a very nice holiday in Grubine. The cottage was clean and had enough space for our two families with a total of 8 people. The spacious rooms made sure that everyone was able to spread out well. The outdoor pool was a nice touch and was used by us regularly. Especially on the hot days, it was a welcome cooling off. The landlord was nice and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. If you have any questions or concerns, he was available at any time. The location of the house is also convenient, as many excursion options are easily accessible in the area. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and can recommend the house.

We stayed as a group of 10 friends and the space worked really well. We loved the outdoor space, with the choice of eating areas and relaxing by the pool. Luka and his family were very friendly and really helpful. The property is close to a road, but we didn’t feel the traffic noise intruded. The Red and Blue Lakes near Imotski are stunning and the coast is very accessible (30 mins). We had bikes and there were plenty of lovely cycling routes from the door.

We stayed at Villa for 14 days. We and the kids loved it. We felt right at home. The host and his family, who lives right next door, are super friendly and always helpful. We can very well imagine booking the accommodation again and can recommend you with a clear conscience 👍

Wow! A lovely villa, with spectacular views. Inside it is modern, well equipped and very comfortable. The outside area is incredible, with a beautiful pool and lots of space to enjoy the sun. There are views of the sea on one side, and mountains on the other. A very quiet, peaceful and secluded location that is not overlooked. Only the mountain goats can see! A perfect place for couples looking for privacy. Valentino was a wonderful host. Very quick to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and always keen to make sure we enjoyed our holiday. He visited a couple of times to tend to the pool and check we were happy with everything. The only drawback to this place is also the main benefit - its location. It's good to be away from everyone and have great views, but that requires a 10-minute drive along a narrow winding road to get to and from the nearest town. You soon get used to it, and after a couple of days you can tackle it like a local! Highly recommended!

The place is great and we had a wonderful week there. The garden is spacious and ideal for us as we arrived with two dogs. There are many seating areas and a nice, large pool. The rooms are bright, clean and modernly furnished. Particularly noteworthy are the air conditioning and the fly screens on the bedroom windows, which made the hot nights more pleasant. There are good shopping and small, cozy restaurants nearby. The hosts were also extremely friendly and helpful. They were always available to help and made sure we felt completely comfortable.

Fantastic place! We will definitely want to come back. Everything is as described, beautiful view from the terrace, parking by the building, 20m to the beach, washer and dryer so you can wash things. Next to small eateries, a store, it's definitely worth coming here for longer!
