Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gualala, Mendocino County

I felt like I was Anne of Green Gables on Prince Edward Island. This is the most beautiful place to make family memories. The house, the property, the town, the coast... our expectations were off the chart met. We hope to come back. It is magical and Will was very responsive and helpful.

This was our first big family trip and it was a success. Judy and Nick were so quick to respond and when asked if the law can be mowed they send someone within a few hours to address it. The rooms were great size to fit our big party and the fire place was a hit for the kids. We would love to come back and stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little quiet getaway. Oh also, the tree house was AWESOME!!

Adrian’s place nestled in the redwoods near bodega bay was well appointed and provided everything we needed for our vacation visit to the bay area after living away. Adrian and Scuba were responsive, proactive and even provided some great recommendations such as the old grove of trees nearby for accessible hiking for our young family. Overall the hosts and stay were great and we would absolutely stay here again or recommend to our friends and family.

We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jason’s house. The views were amazing and the location is the best we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch. The path to the bluff trail was right next to the house and just a short walk you get to amazing tide pools (my daughter and I woke up early to make it at low tide!) and really the best pacific coast views. Jason’s house was immaculate and we really appreciated how complete the kitchen was!! And the blue bottle and intelligentsia coffee beans were a great treat. The hot tub was also great to use after swimming in the rec center. Thank you Jason!!

When we arrived we were delighted with the location and the unmatched view!!!! Everything was clean & inviting. Roomy but cozy. Great kitchen to prepare meals & of course, cocktails! Beds were comfy after a soak in the relaxing hot tub. We will be back!! This place is a gem!!! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us…we treated it with the utmost respect and appreciation.

Just spent a wonderful relaxing long weekend at Pacific Gem. Cindy's place is truly a 'jewel' perched on a bluff with spectacular oceanfront views, comfortable up-scale furnishings, sparkling clean, with everything you could ever need! Absolutely gorgeous! The ,location is close to lots of activites. but after lucking out with terrific weather, we felt no need to leave the premises until checkout - we'd love to stay again on our next trip to Mendocino area!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home the weekend I was prosing to my girlfriend. The pictures do not do the place justice and the views from the backyard are amazing. Brian was an excellent host and was very attentive and helpful during our stay. We loved the peaceful vibe of Sea Ranch and can’t imagine coming back and not staying at this place. We look forward to returning again in the future!

This place is amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. The home truly feels like a tree fort. It is warm and inviting with so many beautiful and artistic touches reflecting the talents of the owners. If you are looking for a place to unplug and relax, this is the home for you.

This is my second time staying at this resort. It’s clean, easy check-in and check-out, great amenities, and conveniently located right outside of Sebastopol. This is a great family stay. Just as pictured.

What a lovely place! Super cozy and beautifully decorated. The skylights bring in a lot of natural light and the patio is so sweet. I was greeted by two little birds singing their songs each day. Highly recommend! :)

Great place to stay! Had all of the available amenities and then some! The bottle of wine and coffee was super thoughtful! The building was clean and within walking distance of downtown. I would recommend this listing to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!

This place was beautiful, quaint, and the perfect getaway for 2! I went with a friend and we absolutely loved it while visiting both Napa and Sonoma. The surroundings are gorgeous and the apartment itself was so comfy and cozy. Eileen was also an amazing host! She always responded quickly and had recs on the ready!

The hosts were very responsive right from the get go. They checked in on us and made our stay comfortable. The location is close to everything - 5 mins drive to downtown mendocino. Loved the proximity to all great places. The apartment itself is well maintained though a tad small. However it’s good for a short stay! The check out was fuss free - and unlike most Airbnbs didn’t have a long list of things to do. Great vacation.

Lovely home in the forest, with a lovely view. Had a great time for my birthday. The beds were comfortable and the living space was open and social. Close to both gurneville and occidental. I’d book again!

Absolutely stunning property. You'll find everything you need in the home. The kitchen is stocked with anything and everything you need to prepare any kind of dish should you want to stay in a cook, and eat outside to view the stunning surroundings. Great location for restaurants, hikes, shopping, etc. River access is a huge plus for warmer months. Loved everything about this place.

5 Star! This home was absolutely perfect for our wine country adventure! The property itself is stunning, and the home exceeded all our expectations with its thoughtful appointments and comfortable amenities. Everything we could possibly need was provided, making our stay completely hassle-free. The location in Novato was ideal – it gave us easy access to Napa's /Sonoma’s wineries while also putting us within reach of other fantastic neighboring areas, allowing us to explore diverse experiences beyond just wine tasting. We loved waking up and being greeted by local wildlife, which added such a special natural element to our mornings and made the setting feel even more wonderful. After long days of touring, we loved unwinding in the relaxing jacuzzi and cozying up by the fireplace in the evenings. The home's decor is truly beautiful and creates such a welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail in both the furnishings and amenities made this feel like a luxury retreat.

My family had an amazing time at Scott’s property. The house was huge, very clean, and had great amenities for all ages. There was plenty of space for our whole group to enjoy dinner together both inside and outside. We also really enjoyed the fun extras like the pool table, piano, and tiki bar. We had a wonderful stay at this unique home filled with beautiful artwork and creative touches that gives it a ton of personality. Every room has it's own charm as well as access to the garden-like outdoors. The beds are very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the peaceful setting. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and check-in and check-out was very easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Definitely will be back. We were in a bind when the water went out and needing somewhere to stay that day. They allowed us immediate access to the property so that we could shower and clean up. This home is so perfect and a very relaxing place to be. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom and walk in closet. Mattresses were definitely the nicest I’ve ever sleep in at an Airbnb. The kitchen is fully stocked, even has an espresso machine. The deck is very privet, has a patio dinning table and lots of seating. 15 minutes from wineries and 10 minutes from Safeway. We can’t wait to come back.

Private dock with lake access and view from home were amazing and exactly what we came for. Hot tub was nice! We loved that we were able to bring our dog. Plenty of room and towels, comfortable couch and beds. Thank you!

The views from inside what feels like a mini Italian villa were just phenomenal. The drive in from the main road is windy and uphill and when you get to the gate, there is a gravel drive to navigate that can be a wee bit challenging, primarily when you have to stop to get through the gates. We were fairly forewarned about this, but take it seriously. Because we were wine tasting, and having lunch out during the day, we ate all of our dinners at the villa and found it to be pretty well equipped for us to make anything we attempted. Really comfortable beds and nice linens. Plenty of towels and blankets for the chilly evenings. A delightful fireplace that we used at night and in the mornings. You should count on 15 minutes door to door to restaurants downtown, and the grocery store, but sometimes it was a little bit quicker than that. All in all, an exquisite property. Very well appointed, elegant, but comfortable, and everything. They said it would be. Exceeded expectations.
