Holiday rentals with breakfast in Guanabo, La Habana del Este

Margarita's house is one of the most beautiful homes I've stayed in. The pictures don't actually do it justice. The back yard is very large and lush, full of fruit trees and song birds. The pool was a great place to spend the afternoon. The home has everything you might need. Margarita was very quick to answer any questions that we had. Niurka and Nieve, the sisters who cook breakfast and clean up, are so wonderful. We are gluten free and our daughter is also vegetarian. They provided great breakfasts full of fruit, cheese and eggs any way you want them. They could not, obviously, provide gluten free bread. However, we brought our own pancake mix and they became experts very quickly. We also asked them to prepare us some meals, which were delicious. The cost is similar to what you'd pay in a restaurant, but we had so much that we had leftovers for the next evening (and then some). A great chance to have some tasty Cuban cuisine. The house is in a small neighbourhood right across from the fortifications. If you want to get over to the other side of the harbour, you'll need a taxi (about 10 cuc). It's very peaceful. I really can't say enough about this place!

Marcos is a great, responsive host. He has a good command of English and has obviously invested in this Airbnb’s facilities, especially the lovely, modern en-suite bathrooms. We have always stayed in different places each visit to Havana but look forward to staying at Marcos’ Airbnb again in the future.

Having a in laws in Habana behind there many times this place exceeds all Airbnb I had been before. Great for families, WIFI , generator is a life saver there outstanding lunch worth every penny. Location is perfect. Thanks Irmita and Amadito you’re the best.

Amazing appartement! Calm place and the terrasse is great. I have nothing negative to say about this place. If you want to have a quiet and private place, this is certainly a good choice. 15 minutes away from the Capitol by walk! Every question I had was proactively answered!

incredible value. we have the entire place to ourselves and it was just four of us. super helpful staff that gave recommendations on things to do and where to go along with exchanging money and making meals on demand. we hung out with them and got to really enjoy ourselves. I would recommend this location for groups that want to be close to everything and walkable. also nice that there is security at the house every evening and staff available 24/7 to help with any needs.

We had a wonderful stay at Ana's house. Mildred and her sister were excellent local hosts and so easy to coordinate check-in/out and airport transportation with. We rented the whole space, which is one bedroom on the 2nd floor (only one flight of stairs up) attached to a smaller sofa bed room that leads to a living room, plus another bedroom, which is on the 3rd floor (another flight of stairs up) in its own little "tower." The house is beautiful and has a mini refrigerator in both rooms (very helpful) and no kitchen/stove/coffee maker (just as advertised). Address note: The house is well located but I would note that it is actually located at Villegas & Muralla (not Lamparilla 1 as it shows on the Airbnb map/listing). This would not make a big difference for most people (it's a 10 minute/700m/.4 mile walk between the house and Lamparilla 1) but we did initially make the booking hoping to be on Lamparilla so it seemed worth mentioning as a heads up. This place is beautiful. You feel welcome and very comfortable. We ordered breakfast in the morning for about 6-7 euros. The two ladies were very attentive and eager. In the evening, a night doorman comes to watch out. So you have the feeling that there's always someone there if you have any questions. Special thanks to Fernando. It's the best. Available 24/7 via whats app, every issue will be resolved. We felt very comfortable. Thank you for everything.

This is one our favorite places to stay in the entire world! We feel like family here. Allan and Natalia are fantastic hosts, with restaurant recommendations, personal followup with any questions that may come up, and they make sure your stay is the best it can be. We also got to see the cleaning service in action when we said that they could go ahead and come in for a scheduled cleaning before we went out for the day. No wonder the place always looks clean...it is clean! We watched as the cleaner wiped every surface on the kitchen cabinet doors, even. And everthing in the entire apartment was sanitized to exacting standards. We were impressed! Don't book any other place in Havana. This is home!

Diana is a 10 host. She is kind, helpful, attentive, caring, discreet, respectful...my daughter and I were a few sick days and her concern and familiarity confirmed that being in her apartment was a hit. Apartments of more or less comfort we can find without a doubt, the difficult thing is to find a host who knows how to combine attention and at the same time respect your privacy and living space and Diana gives that balance in an exceptional way. His apartment is located in an unbeatable area of Vedado where there is all kinds of service and from which you can move without problems to other places and not to do so, the terraces of the apartment are perfect to rest with a good coffee or whatever it affects. Thank you thousand Diana for being so special, my family and I are more than satisfied and I recommend to the Airbnb Community, that in Havana they do not miss the opportunity to be in their apartment and have the joy of meeting them. Our love for you and family.

I gave Alejandro great reviews because of how flexible and helpful he was. He had arranged transportation for us from the airport to his place. Our reservation was only for one night. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed for 24 hrs. and we did not arrive in Habana in time to stay at his apartment. Throughout the process, he was as helpful and patient as he could be considering the circumstances. He was wonderful to work with. I regret that we could not meet in person.

This was a very unique and beautiful apartment with beautiful balconies, a loft, glass window about the balcony doors to see the sky and the beautiful historical church while you lay in bed. The theme was top class and the bedroom had lots of space. Things appeared to be brand new! The host was easily reacted by phone and Maritaz was so sweet and helped with whatever we needed. There were a few times when the electricity went away but that didn't bother us. We love this place and will return.

My friends and I only stayed one night, but Eli was extremely careful and kind at our reception. Communication with her throughout the process was great. The rooms were very clean and the small courtesies of products were great. We paid 5 dollars to use the Wi-Fi for 20 hours and she helped us with a taxi to the airport for 30 dollars. The apartment is not in the busiest part of Vedado, but we were able to go to the main places in the region on foot with total tranquility. If we go back to Havana, we'd stay again.

I had a great stay at Gloria’s place! The apartment was very clean, easy to find, and exactly as described. Gloria is a wonderful host, very friendly and welcoming. She gave us plenty of great recommendations that helped us make the most of our time in Havana. The place is definitely worth the money we paid, and I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in the city. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Monica’s was not a normal stay, it was a wholesome experience ! From pickup at the airport to supporting us in every single thing day-to-day, Monica was very helpful and didn’t hesitate any moment to support us. The apartment is just magnifique ! Clean and cosy, way better than the pictures and description + a lovely delicious breakfast+ very accessible (close to all spots) and easy to find. Monica and Roberto didn’t stop here, they went above and beyond to the point they dropped us in Varadero to continue our trip as they have a beautiful water front (pieds dans l’eau) house close to Varadero, which I highly recommend if you are travelling to Varadero since she offers discount for La Habana guests. We are already missing our morning discussions in her antique store located under the apartment ! Recommending this place for stay isn’t enough, it is a whole package. Our stay at Isa's place was very good. From the reception from Umberto, one of the managers in charge of the house, who was concerned about our arrival since we were delayed due to the flight. Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious with their delicious mango juices, fruit dishes, toast, tortilla and a long etc. We were so delighted with the treatment received from Umberto that we repeated our stay in the final stage of our trip. Also noteworthy is the attitude of Mercedes, Isa's sister, who treated us as if we were family. We will miss the talks about Cuban history. Thanks for everything, wait

They were great.. been very accomodating. House has very comfy beds. Showers had awesome water pressure. Breakfast was fabulous also. Joli was wonderful

Central location,secure building,supportive staff.We were educated about the community and its rich history. Restaurant recommendations were great..Safe and comfortable. A real feel of history..Breakfast and coffee was wonderful.Highly recommend this gem .Frank,Fernando and all staff were top notch . We learned something from everyone there..

This place was amazing! I highly recommend staying here. It is very clean, very spacious, had great working A/C in the bedrooms and my favorite part was the rooftop patio. Great views, privacy and a wonderful breeze! There are two ladies who greeted us upon our arrival who spoke perfect English. That made it very helpful as I do not speak Spanish. They were very kind and made us feel very welcome. They will arrange anything you need from local taxis, tours, massages, places to eat etc. Staying here made my trip to Cuba that much more enjoyable. It’s nice to have a spot to relax and feel truly comfortable at the end of a long day after touring Havana.

I extended my stay for an extra night. Very comfy and the hosts are always helpful and kind. Excellent place and top notch hosts!

The house is spectacular, it's better in person than in the photos. Large, spacious and also very private. The pool is undoubtedly the best, we all enjoy it a lot. We went to spend a few days with the family and we were all delighted. Thank you Jaquelin, Laura and Mariano, always attentive to what we needed. I recommend it 100%. We'll be back.

If you consider to visit Havana, please do! I know its not the best time because of the heartbreaking situation there but i enjoyed the stay so much because it was not overfloaded with tourists, but enough to meet amazing people still. Cuba needs us tourists and this place is just wonderful. Clean, safe and spacious. The veranda is beautiful, the breakfast amazing. And i only met great other people staying there. Its also not too many rooms, so you always also have some privacy. If you consider visiting, this place is welcomes you perfectly.
