Foal Retreat

Refúgio das Poldras is located in Vilar de Viando, right on the banks of the Cabril River, one of the cleanest rivers in the region. Excellent for bathing, swimming, or simply walking along more than 2 km of the Cabril River. It is located about 2 km from the center of the village if you want to walk along the Roman road. The bungalow features a double bed with a unique view of the river, a kitchenette for light meals, a bathroom with shower, and a suspended deck.

In an area classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on the Douro riverside , Art Douro is born in the building that was once the old Porto Alcohol Distillery, originally built during the 19th century to produce brandy. Casa de Areja is located in front of the Douro River, in a secluded and very quiet location, 30 minutes from Porto. It has a small pier that gives you the possibility of using a water transport. 🚤 It has a private pool that can be heated at an additional cost. 🏊🏻‍♀️ The house has 3 en-suites, one of which has a crib. It also has a common space with two sofa beds. Therefore, it can accommodate 6 adults, 4 children and 1 baby.

We are a french-portuguese couple who left our work in the city to a new life in the countryside! The farm is certifided organic. We live in Vieira do Minho, near the Peneda-Gerês National Park, 1km from the Ermal dam and the Cablepark. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room with kitchen. The house is above the family home with a different (and private) entrance.
