This property was owned by Countess Mumadona Dias and is referred to in the medieval documentation as "Villa Margaridi", in a letter that dates from the year 1021. - Chauffeur's Lodge is as the name implies, the old chauffeur accommodations of the House of Margaride. We live in Vieira do Minho, near the Peneda-Gerês National Park, 1km from the Ermal dam and the Cablepark. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room with kitchen. The house is above the family home with a different (and private) entrance.
