Beachfront holiday rentals in Gulf Islands

absolutely gorgeous cabin. amazing views and private access to the water was incredible. my girlfriend and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and it couldn't have been better.

This was our home base for the HOH rainforest. The forest was about 2 hrs away. The place is gorgeous, we didn't want to leave. We could have stayed all week and found so many things to do locally. The windows were large and we were right on the ocean. The dishes were cute, there was a wine opener (which was key). It was quiet safe, the waves were so loud (very cool), our patio was cute. There was electricity! Just a few lights and outlets to still have a glamping feel without being on the screen all day. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. Some mistakes I made. 1. Get groceries in Sequim or Port Angeles. We stopped at a tiny market and were very limited then saw a whole store! 2. A lot of places weren't open after 8, so plan for dinner ahead. 3. We thought we had to get there because it would be so dark, but in the summer we should have not hurried, there was plenty of light even when the sun was gone.

Jacquie place was outstanding and matched the pictures and description. Her place was cozy and had all the items (kitchen ware, linens, etc.) that you would need to feel at home, as well as backups which is always nice. Her property was on many acres, with owls, ravens and her horses which made the experience even more memorable - the hot tub was also a wonderful way to start and end the days. She was an excellent communicator and it was a wonderful first time experience to Mayne Island.

A great place to relax and rest. the view from the patio over the harbour is so peaceful. The inside space is large and airy. the kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. we would come back again!

the pictures do not do this place justice! very spa like, tons of birds, waves, woods, bluff. it was just amazing!

An amazing weekend away in Gibsons! Our hosts Amanda and Dean are so lovely and we felt right at home. The view from the deck was spectacular, the suite well appointed and so cozy and comfortable. Loved the beach across the road, the peaceful quiet location and super easy access to the ferry. Highly recommend and already planning our next trip back!

A beautiful location - we loved saying here. A great spot to chill and take it the beauty of the Sunshine Coast. We’d love to come back.

So enchanting! ♡ The best type of airbnb experience possible! A beautiful home, comfortable, magical, well-stocked. It felt like we were personal guests of the owners, staying in a designed and well-loved home. There were so many special touches and so much thoughtfulness. The home has many cute areas to spend time in, and the patio was an instant way to feel connected to nature. We went for a graduation, now dreaming to return, just to stay there again! ♡♡♡

We felt very welcome into their vacation condo. The details made towards insuring our comfort, down to bottled water upon arrival and more was much appreciated. A bottle of white wine and Godiva chocolates were placed on the kitchen island along with the parking cards...a nice welcome to the condo. The unit was very clean and cozy. The convenience of walking to Father's Day brunch and later to dinner was perfect. Sherri and Dan sent a lengthy welcome message to us 48 hours prior to arrival, listing the restaurants, coffee houses and their proximity. The communication was great. This is our second time staying at this airbnb and we love it so much! The hosts are amazing, really understanding and super responsive. The place is super clean and well thought out. The perfect place to bring young kids with lots of supplies already there (highchair/pack and play/kitchenware/toys). The location is also amazing so close to the beach and the resort has lots of fun kid friendly amenities. We are definitely making this spot an annual trip! Thank you Nikki & Jenn!!

Hands down one of the best AirBnBs we’ve stayed in. Margaret’s place is in a beautiful, peaceful location, with easy access restaurants, coffee, grocery, etc. The place itself epitomizes comfort and luxury. Excellent amenities and so well/stocked. Beautiful place right on the ocean. It was great having the heated pool, hot tub and kids play area. A short drive to great cafes and bakeries.

Sally and Dale have such a BEAUTIFUL property - it was the perfect location for a girls’ bachelorette weekend. They were also such kind and responsive hosts, quick to respond to anything we needed, we truly felt right at home.

Deanna was so great with any questions we had and even had an Air Mattress brought to replace the old one. The lake was awesome and the area had a ton to do, pool, golf, pickleball and more. Having two places on property for our large group made it a lifelong memory for sure! Highly recommend this for any medium to small family.

My sister, Mum and I spent two nights here for a little girls getaway. We enjoyed the beach walk, sitting out on the point with the firepit, and golfing at the little local 9-hole course Brigadoon. The suite had everything we needed and Christina was very attentive to our needs throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

This is our second time staying here and we loved it! Close to the beach, restaurants and the club house with the games room and pool is great for kiddos. We have made Birch Bay a yearly trip and love this spot!

Lovely cottage. Very peaceful and perfect for our long weekend family gathering. Andrea was really responsive and everything was extremely clean. We didn’t get lucky with the tides but really enjoyed the deck

Carol’s place was AMAZING! The kitchen had everything needed to make meals for dining in, which we did a lot of because THAT VIEW!! We didn’t want to leave, just wanted to sit and watch for marine life. We saw seals, dolphins, eagles, and a family of 6 sea otters playing. When the evening started to cool we moved our binoculars to the hot tub to continue enjoying the views and serenity. My family agreed the beds were comfy and we all slept well. If you are looking for a go go go vacay Pender Island is not your place. If you want easy hikes in gorgeous surroundings, peace that reaches your very core, and super friendly people I definitely recommend Pender Island! The didc golf course has discs for public use and was really fun! Driftwood shopping center has all you will need. We recommend Sea Star Winery and a stop at Bee Wild distillery for tastings. We HIGHLY recommend Carol’s place!

Had a really great stay here, was perfect for our short stay. Right on the beach with a fantastic view, with thoughtful touches inside. Perfect for a 1-2 night stay. Overall highly recommend!

Salt Cottage is cozy with a beautiful oceanview. Space is perfect for two people. It is spotless and fresh. The kitchen has everything you could need. Bathroom has a gorgeous walk in shower and the host supplies very lovely biodegradable soap, shampoo and conditioner, necessary for their septic system. King sized bed is very comfortable and comes with feather pillows. Stairs to the loft are taller than average stairs so be mindful of that. A small deck off the living room has two loungers and a little fire bowl - very cute. There are tons of dvd's and some games you can borrow, as well as sit upon kayaks and SUP boards. To get to the beach you do have to get down a few flights of outdoor stairs. Host is very responsive and helpful should you have any questions. Overall a lovely place to unwind and relax.

This is our second stay at this top-notch lodging, and the views can’t be beat. We love using the soaking tub while the stars come out and watching planes approach as they come to nearby airport. Enjoyed walking to town every day to shop and eat, and spent hours reading on provided deck chairs. Hosts are easily available since they live above space, and were extremely helpful when we had a dead car battery upon checking out. It’s a cozy space that allowed us to make small or simple meals in the kitchen, and we appreciated the small storage room for luggage and extra house decor items or chairs that we didn’t use. Queen bed is comfy and extra throw blankets were needed for cool days. With these gorgeous views, know that this beautiful property is on a slope. We’re seniors, and stairs lead to a few areas (lodging, 2nd lower deck over water, and hammock area) and a slope and stairs to kayaks will need to be navigated to enjoy the free kayaks - worth it! We will return, a favorite spot!

Beautiful peaceful room with an ocean view! Rachel's place was lovely and quiet with a very comfortable bed. I especially enjoyed hearing the waves on the beach outside.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing escape- this is it. Shauna was the perfect host- very friendly, welcoming, helpful, & made us feel right at home. The guest suite was beautiful inside and out. Comfortable bed, stunning views, fully stocked kitchen, & she even provided an honor pantry if we needed something in a pinch. The area was beautiful- lots of walking trails, access to a quaint beach, close to the local delicacy Shirley Delicious & Stoked Woodfire pizza. We loved everything about our stay in Shirley, would recommend to anyone & hope to visit again sometime.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage was exactly as described - gorgeous inside and out. We loved the decor and it felt so cozy and comfortable. The view from the deck was fantastic and we felt so close to nature. At times we could hear nothing but the many species of birds! We loved watching the harbour seals out front of the cottage and saw many bald eagles! We enjoyed the hottub and the fire table every evening as well as exploring the beach area. Lots of great beaches close by (ocean and freshwater). We hope to back SOON! Thank you for the incredible stay!
