Cosy little cottage in Shaftesbury

My cottage is tucked away in a little lane by Shaftesbury hospital. It’s very near to the site of the historic Shaftesbury Abbey, Park Walk with its lovely rolling views over the Dorset countryside. Gold Hill - made famous by the much loved 1970s Hovis Bread TV commercial is within a short walk away. The cottage makes an excellent base from which to explore the borders of beautiful Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset, where the countryside, walking, cycling and dining out opportunities are fantastic.

The Old Barn, Motcombe

The Old Barn is at the far end of a long wing of a lovely family farmhouse just outside a rural village in the stunning landscape of North Dorset. Its amazing views look over Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire. The Old Barn is a very large studio space 12m x 4.5m with a king size bed, an additional double bedroom is available by prior & separate arrangement, the ensuite bath & shower is between the two rooms. There's 3 bedrooms - two smaller attic bedrooms and the main bedroom which is spacious with a king bed. There's only one bathroom so any more than four adults might struggle! Less than an hour from the Jurassic Coast and 25mins to Stonehenge we're in a great spot or just enjoy the countryside on your doorstep.
