Villa holiday rentals in Gyokuto, Tamana District

Beautiful serene place. We lucked out with the weather which was beautiful warm and we swam in the bay several times during the day. The view of the water and sea life (we were sure we saw porpoises) birds and butterflies from the verandah was other worldly. Watching the surface of the water change was pure Zen. The onsen just perfect. The kitchen could do with one more cooking pot and a coffee machine and the living/outdoor space more seating, but since you’re staying in an historic building you do accept that you’re lucky to be staying there at all. It’s really very unique and even our two 22 year olds were blown away by the building including garden view from the bedrooms.

The surroundings are peaceful and you can see Yufu-dake behind the house.The only downside was the variety of cookware, plates and utensils but no bowls alone, which was a bit inconvenient.

What a special place. We were lucky enough to find this house as we cancelled another part of our trip and ended up staying 3 days here. This was the most beautiful Japanese house we stayed at over the years. The decoration is very intricate, beautiful in every day. The kitchen is exceptionally well furnished, we cooked every night and nothing was lacking. The situation, right in front of a pier makes the house stand out in so many ways. And we loved all the things to do in the region, it was a great discovery for us. Of course, we had our own leased car, we don't know how one would manage without transportation in the vicinity so we can't speak to that. All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and cannot recommend it enough.

This is a very decent house, sufficient enough for my family (6 members aged between 4 to 70). The place is very clean and tidy. The host is friendly and kind. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. We think the location of the house is very convenient, probably because we drive. It takes reasonable time to travel to Kumamoto city or to Aso district, just in the middle of both. A large shopping mall is near, about 10 mins drive, very convenient! The house has everything you need. Towels, shampoo, body soap and even skin care products are present in the house. This is a real bonus for those who prefer light luggage and not to carry too many things when travelling. Cooking utensils are well equipped and even seasonings. We make delicious meals during our stay. I highly recommend this premise to visitors who are going to travel to Kumamoto in a group of 4-7.

Roppongong is a residential area, there are kebab shops and convenience stores nearby, the homestay is large, suitable for 4-6 people, the interior is fully equipped, it is worth staying!

The way to go is strict, larger cars need to be careful⚠️ However, the location was good and I enjoyed it very much with my family of 5!!

The most impressive place I've ever stayed in is a place where I can stay with my dog.I felt that if the check-in and check-out time was longer, I could take it a little more slowly. Thanks for your hospitality.

Four adults use it as an adult. It was very beautiful, and it was a space where I could relax as soon as I checked in.There is also a full kitchen utensils, and there is a projector, and I thought it would be a pity that it was only for one night. It wasn't listed on the amenities, but there are bath towels, toothbrushes, and body wipes. It was cold in mid-December, but even though the heating was not turned on, the room was freezing, and it was very comfortable. However, when I accumulated the bath at 47 degrees, the hot water became hot, so I think that's the only thing. Lol It was a lovely place for all four of us who stayed. Thank you so mych

Awesome, beautiful scenery

We had a wonderful 3-night stay here with our 8-month-old. Everything in the house was new and in great condition, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we were well settled from the start. The views were absolutely stunning, and the space was perfect for switching off—whether we were relaxing in the sauna, grilling on the BBQ, going for a swim, watching a movie on the projector or reading a book by the window. They had kindly provided a high chair, and we could help ourselves to drinks, which was a lovely touch. It’s a peaceful and beautifully designed getaway—we’d love to return!

It's my first trip to Japan, and it satisfies the tranquility, ruins, peace, atmosphere, and taste! Mika recommended it properly, so I really enjoyed the attractions and restaurants. Next time, I have to take my group with me. Vanilla, hi ~

Even if you don't live by the sea I was able to experience the relaxation of a private house where I could hear the nature, air and birdsong of Itoshima💕.

A great place to consider for families who like to huddle together and enjoy the facilities provided by Kuromi. 4 TVs, 2 kitchens with all the tools, a beautiful outdoor area for grills and just chilling out. Kuromi was also very responsive to queries. They had a team on standby to inspect the lights and alternative solutions were given to ensure a great experience to my family. Recommended!

We had a great time staying at this beautiful, cozy loft. The place gets plenty of natural light and is equipped with many convenient amenities that made our stay comfortable. The host is responsive and hospitable. Highly recommended!

A stylish home with detailed amenities to cater extreme comfort

The highlight of our trip. Would be awesome if come again in summer to use the pool and fully enjoy the sea.

I stayed with my family and relatives, a total of 14 people (7 adults, 7 children) and 2 dogs, for 1 night.I used it as a place to celebrate with relatives, and I was very satisfied with the comfort and full facilities that exceeded my expectations. First of all, the 2-story 6SLDK villa, built on a large 1400 ㎡ site, is more spacious than it looks in the photos, and is designed to accommodate a large number of people.The living and dining rooms were open, and the whole family could enjoy meals and conversations. It is worth noting that despite being a 10-minute drive from Fukuoka Airport, it has a panoramic view of Fukuoka City.I was able to see the take-off and landing of the aircraft up close, and it was an exciting experience for me as an aircraft enthusiast. In addition, there are plenty of facilities where you can enjoy the resort atmosphere, such as a barrel sauna, a small pool, a long deck, and a private BBQ facility.Unfortunately, we couldn't use these facilities this time due to time constraints, but we definitely want to enjoy them with the whole family next time. In addition, the fact that pets are allowed is a big plus.The dogs also seemed to be able to play freely in the large yard and spend time without stress. Overall, the cleanliness of the facility and the host's response were great, and I was able to stay with peace of mind.I think it is a villa that is ideal for large groups and special events.I'd love to stay again next time.
