Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Great place! Everything was clean and our stay was flawless.

The apartment was very clean and cozy and in my opinion the location is very achievable in and out if you have a car and plan to take day trips in basically any direction. Kitchen i.e. had everything(and more) you need for cooking. Comfy sofa for relaxing after a long day out. Groceryshop is like 150m away and has a good selection of items including own section for vegan stuff. We had absolutely no issues during our residence here and would definately pick this one again in the future. Highly recommended

An old house with two bedrooms, a large kitchen, a remodeled bathroom, and a washing and dryer. Throughout our visit, Robert was incredibly kind and quick to respond to any inquiries. The harbor can be reached on foot from the location. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Despite its age, the house has all the amenities we require.

Jennifer was a great host, very clear instructions were given, the place was heated and has one parking spot and just outside the city and centrally located. Will highly recommend the place for a family of four.

The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, even leaving us a handwritten note and it was such a thoughtful touch. also the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Being escaped from the coldness of iceland, heating worked perfectly, and the cozy, warm atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and comfortable after a day of exploring. The location was in a peaceful neighborhood, and the house was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. Staying here made our Iceland experience even more memorable !! Sergey was super responsive and helpful. We had the absolute best time on our wild trip to Iceland. The Jeep ran perfect, and got us through a whole bunch of river crossings and rough terrain driving on the Icelandic F roads. The mattress and pillows in the back were incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies. The box of supplies had everything we needed. We had an amazing time. We’ll be back!!

Solid vehicle, super comfortable and warm. A GREAT way to see Iceland if you only have 24hrs! If you are coming from Canada, be prepared for insane gas prices…More than $300 to fill the tank.

Stayed here for 3 weeks to study, so we rented the entire apartment. The location was perfect, lovely parks and an ice rink nearby, and only a short bus ride or 25 minute walk by the sea to downtown reykjavik. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook and clean. Hakon had loads or information left available on tours, bus routes, restaurants etc, that were very helpful. A home away from home.

Elisabet is a fantastic host! She and her apartment had a big positive impact on my experience in Iceland. Elisabet provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, and she shared excellent tips on places to visit. She was very approachable and quick to respond to any questions I had. The apartment is cozy and perfectly located—within walking distance of most of the city’s main attractions. It’s also very close to bus stop number 8, which is super convenient. I highly recommend Elisabet’s apartment!

We had a great time in Iceland, and this place was really perfect for our needs. It has a ton of space, which can be hard to find in Iceland (I have been to Iceland many times, as I have family there). Sesselja was an absolutely AMAZING host. She is VERY responsive and very helpful. We communicated a great deal after booking, leading up to the trip, and throughout our stay. She answered all my questions in a very reasonable amount of time. I am very happy that I found her and her place here on Airbnb. I will probably be looking/hoping to stay here on all my future trips to Iceland.

This was a great value for us. Really a nice size with plenty of room for the four of us. I had some questions while there and they were answered very quickly. We also got some great recommendations before our arrival from Amos, very friendly and helpful. The free parking was a plus but we did find that if you arrive later in the day/evening, you will likely have problems finding anything close. Would still definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place near town.

The appartment is exactly how it is described, spacious and easily accessible. The neibourghood is so quiet and peaceful. I had a car, it is very easy to find a parking and it is 5 min away from everything. Helena is a great host, very responsive and helpful. If i can spot only one negative point at this time of the year, is the absence of blackout curtains, it was not easy to sleep when you have light 24/24. Otherwise everything was perfect. Nike was a very responsive host and everything in the apartment was provided for. Although we didn’t use much, except a bit of butter to cook, you have everything you need if something ever arises. It is a 5 minute walk to bus stop #8 which is great for tour pickups/drop-offs.

G Thor was a wonderful host! Before we arrived he communicated great, sent us very detailed directions with pictures to find the place. Without, we would have had a very hard time finding it. The location is perfect to access the city, and base day trips from. He gave us local recommendations for food and supplies. We couldn’t be more pleased with him as our host! His place was also wonderful! Everything we needed was there and the place was very spacious for our family of 5 adults. Thank you very much!
