The house, as described. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Comfortable beds. A wonderful, large fenced garden. Dog paradise. The location, absolutely quiet and the possibility to do the morning round in the countryside with the dogs. The hosts are always available to solve a technical problem. Many thanks to Isabelle and Eric. Too bad the weather wasn't that good.

Small house full of charms with a beautiful history. It quickly feels like home. Everything is thought out so that we had everything we needed. Warm and very welcoming hosts. We hope to come back again soon.

The house is ideal for a group that wants to experience something really special. We were there with 9 people as a bachelor party and it was just perfect. The house has a lot of character and charm, there is something to discover everywhere. In addition, there is the very beautifully maintained property with its huge garden. Perfect for spending the whole day there, as there is always a shady spot thanks to the surrounding trees. You get a lot of information from Martin about the area and possible excursion destinations. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and will definitely book it again.

We spent a few days in Christine’s house. The house was meeting our needs (with children and dog) perfectly. The house is beautifully equipped, has a nice outside area and provides a lot of things to do (games, books, toys for children etc.) The communication with Christine was easy and she was a nice and caring host. We felt welcome at all times. This place is highly recommendable. Thank you Christine!

Great stay in a top-notch house with everything you need for a stay. Super nice hosts, very helpful, approachable at all times and no problems. We borrowed nuts from the tree in the garden and a gas grill. For our dog, a caresser and a securely lockable garden gate, so that he could run around freely. A great stay, which we will definitely repeat. Clear recommendation and five stars.

Wonderful location. Especially loved the balcony in the evening, sipping chilled wine and watching the buzzards soaring above us. We even got a fabulous sunset. Highly recommend as a base for exploring the Black Forest

The studio of Laurence and Pierre is great, everything you need for a stay for 1 or 2 people. The place was clean and my hosts welcomed me warmly. Proactive and nice hoasts, always available if you need them. The surroundings are very nice, cosy alsacien village. Thank you!

Daniela is a very nice and helpful contact. The location of the apartment is quiet and the surroundings (the village) very idyllic. From the accommodation, you can quickly reach the surrounding vineyards, the city center of Baden-Baden and numerous hiking routes through the Black Forest. Just the thing to unwind ☀️

Beautiful holiday apartment! Everything was perfect from the start. Eunice is a fantastic host and we felt welcome even before arriving at the Pine Cone Loft as she provided us with all the relevant information well in advance. The apartment is pristine, luxurious and the views over the forest from the balcony and from the kitchen are breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you need including coffee and tea. Even the bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and lots of towels. Eunice was very patient with our rescue dog who was a bit nervous at first. Everything is very dog friendly, the dog house rules are easy to follow and there even was a water bowl and mat for our dog. The whole apartment was very clean and we felt immediately at home. The area is beautiful and quiet and right on the hiking trails. Baden-Baden very close and easy to reach within 10 minutes by car. Eunice has so many great tips about the area and is always there to help if you need anything. 100% recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully designed apartment. We particularly liked that there is a lot of nature all around and the apartment is so harmoniously designed. There was all the equipment we needed. The garden is also great, with various corners where you can make yourself comfortable.

Fantastic place, exceptional host. The place truly feels like home. The host is very kind and helpful. The location is great - very peaceful and close to the bus line that get you to the city centre. The shops are also nearby, Lidl (5 min), Carrefour and Auchan by bus. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

What nice and active hosts Iris and Bernard are! They had good tips about the bike route along the canal to Strasbourg and about the swimming lake 2 km away. The apartment is very pleasant: spacious, bright and cozy. The delicious bed makes it complete. Outside, you can sit in the seat under the blue rain, overlooking the cozy and beautifully planted garden. Shops 1 km away and a good Italian restaurant next door (reserve, because it is busy!).

We felt very lucky to stay in this historic home, which was bulit in 1817 and set in a quiet, peaceful street with other homes of similar vintage. The interior maintains the charm of yesteryear but offers all the modern comforts one could need. We really appreciated our hosts who were there when we needed but also privacy, so we felt completely at home. The easy 30 min cycle to and from Strasbourg each day, past farmland and along the canal was a great way to experience the area.

Nice spacious studio in the middle of the Black Forest. The studio is located on the ground floor of the hosts house, near the main road of Mitteltal, which was ideally located to start hikes and bike rides. With the Schwarzwald Plus card you can also use the bus for free to go to the start of hikes/activities in the region. Mitteltal has one very little supermarket and some bakeries and restaurants in walking distance (5-10 min). If you want some more options, Baiersbronn has some bigger supermarkets and more restaurants in 10 min by car. The sauna was a very nice addition on the rainy days. The bed was comfortable, the studio was very quiet and dark with the roller shutters down. The shower was also very nice. The host was very friendly and informative. We appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and the fact that we could park our racing bikes in the garage. We would recommend this studio for a peaceful trip to the Schwarzwald.
