The Smoke House is a small, bright and airy self contained annex at the back of my house with its own entrance, this delightful studio space with original wooden beams has been beautifully refurbished .It is ideal for one person or for a couple, although please note it is a small space and would probably only suit couples for short stays. It has a quality double bed, kitchenette, shower room and patio area. Close to Loughton Station and we have the famous Epping Forest at the end of our road.

A modern flat. Quiet and secure with a very relaxed atmosphere. The perfect place if you just want to get your head down. Unable to accommodate anyone who wants to stay home all day (it’s a small place) and please note too, there’s no use of the kitchen (hence the low price). I do however supply tea, coffee and tasty treats.

Danann and Tara were both very welcoming and made me feel right at home. Their place has a lovely atmosphere and was a really comfortable space to relax in. They were happy to share lots of helpful local knowledge too. The location is super convenient, with great transport links—especially being so close to the Victoria Line. I’d definitely stay again if I’m working in the area!

What can I say about this beautiful host ? Her home was warm and welcoming and I was made to feel very welcome . The room was private with an ideal work station , as I needed this because this was a professional trip to London. The linen was clean, the bathroom was private and the house was spotless. Iwona and her two children were friendly and accommodating …… and Lilly the family cat was the sweetest fur-ball ever 😻 she fell asleep one day on my bed and it was great to give her a cuddle after a stressful day st work . As a guest you have your own private space to work peacefully . The house is immaculate on a leafy suburb in Hornchurch. There is a bus 🚌 & tube 🚇 service within a five minute walk either into London from Elm Park . The property is about a 10 minute drive to the A12, and leads to the M25, & major roads accessibly .However, it was the host & the children that made my stay so fab. I won’t hesitate to stay again . thank you so so much Iwona Kindest Regards Lisa

Susan is a lovely and kind host – such a warm welcome! The place was very cosy and spotless, and she even left a generous selection of sweets and snacks for me, which was a really sweet touch. (if I wasn't vegan I would put some weight on) I felt at home right away. Highly recommended!
