Monthly Rentals in Halibut Bay

Above and Beyond Booked this trip for a group of 7 guys in our early 30s, and it couldn’t have worked out better. Everyone had their own bed, and the space was the perfect size for us with all the facilities we needed. The views were stunning. I knew it was on the ocean, but wow - photos really don’t do it justice. While we were there, some of us spotted seals and even saw a whale — a pretty exciting wildlife moment. Not sure how common that is, but it was a highlight for us, being from out of province . Uber does reach the property, which made a night out in Halifax easy, though we also rented a car to get around — both options worked well. Huge thanks to the hosts. We’d love to come back

I would 100% come again. Very friendly, kind, clean and in a great area. 15 minutes from all the stores you would need and only 30 from downtown Halifax. Also very close to some great parks and hiking spots. The view was spectacular, the hosts were very generous. When I come to Halifax next I hope to stay at Heathers air bnb. Couldn’t have asked for a more ideal situation.

Very nice place. Beautiful views , garden, and private location. Host was very responsive. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of space, nice open floor plan, the island is very useful. Worth noting that noise travels easily between the units due to the air exchange installed, so sometimes dogs, renovation noise, etc can be easily heard. Also, the air exchange can result in the fire alarm going off if your neighbors are cooking. And the downstairs fire alarm is positioned directly over the stove so if you intend on cooking talk to Gian about moving it. One other minor thing, there weren't many lids for the pots. Overall though a very pleasant experience. I'd give a 4.5 stars but Airbnb doesn't give me that option, so I'll round up to 5.
