Beautiful home away from home for a relaxing weekend away with friends. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, clean and modern bathrooms. We really appreciated the amazing fire which kept the place cozy. Nice quiet location with only a short walk to town. Eva was very accommodating and we would definitely stay again!

Atypical and charming place. Our kids loved sleeping in the old stagecoach garage with the horse stools on display as decoration. Mike and Linda were very welcoming and showed us around the property which has many surprises in store! Despite the rainy weather we had a lovely time!

Perfect house for our family get together over Easter. Loved the fire & fenced back yard for our wee dog. Was awesome to get early check in & heat pump was turned on for our arrival. Was so welcoming & warm. Thank you.

The house was fantastic. It was very clean and warm. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and we felt right at home. I actually thought the house was way better than it looked in the photos. We had three couples with young children and it was a great space for us to stay.

Private home with good proximity to town and everything we needed.

I can't say enough positives. For my family of four (7yo and 8yo), the house and location were perfect. We hadn't paid enough attention to the listing, so were very pleasantly surprised by the bonus games room with pool table in the back yard. It kept the kids occupied and amused for hours and hours. Whether it be a 50m walk to beautiful gardens and walking tracks, or a 5 min walk (tops) to restaurants and the Springs, the location doesn't get better.

It was a beautiful week in Hanmer Springs! Very cozy cottage with a lovely backyard. There's a fireplace with a plenty of firewood available. And its a 5 minute walk to the pools, very convenient location. Definitely would recommend!

Great location, in quiet street. Comfortable beds with clean linen. Well equipped kitchen. Great to sit on the very large balcony with a lovely view to the surrounding mountains. Was great that we could have our dog stay too. Owners have planted out a new garden with lots of trees and plants that attracts the bird life.

Great place to stay, small so not lots to clutter and you can spent time out and about doing things.

Spent Christmas with family travelling from Nelson and Queenstown. Comfortable and suitable for our kids aged from 7 to 15yrs. walking distance to town and water park, but the road very quiet, great bike and walking tracks all a stones throw away. Close to the local school for use of the basketball and cricket field Suited our family and our dog, a great time was had by all

The place and the location were absolutely stunning and we loved tending to and then sitting in the hot tub at sunset.

If you’re adventurous and enjoy unique places, then like us, you’ll love this place!Thankfully for us the weather cleared the afternoon we arrived and we had fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding areas. Some persistent stoking of the hot tub paid off and a good relaxing soak in steaming hot water as the clouds rolled in and rain started in the late evening was beautiful!

A couple of things, Pet/Park fee: If you’re bringing a pet, you’ll pay an extra fee on top of the Airbnb rate. TinyAway listed it, but it wasn’t obvious. My partner and I missed it when we reviewed the listing and only realized it after booking. We share some responsibility, but it could’ve been clearer. The drive up: 4WD is essential for steep areas unsuitable for city cars. Driving up and down the mountain was terrifying but memorable. Pictures of retrieving the key would’ve been helpful. Summer: We visited in the summer, and it was extremely hot. We couldn’t spend time outside because of the flies. This isn’t a complaint about our hosts, but a heads up for anyone coming in the summer. Hosts: TinyAway as the main host were very responsive, sub host Tim was not, so that could be improved. View: The view is absolutely gorgeous. Loved it. Home: I thought the home was clean, my partner thought the fridge wasn’t. Eco-toilet took a little getting used to. Bring your own food/snacks.

This place is such an epic getaway! The drive up is pretty sketchy but easily doable without a 4WD. The views are just insane and it’s super relaxing! Great value for money!

What a magical escape Charlie’s cabin has been. Nestled among the trees and mountains, it gave us the peace and beauty we were looking for. We came here—me, my fiancée Jasmine, and my mum—for a special getaway, and we’re leaving with memories we’ll always treasure. From the crackle of the fire to the quiet stillness of the stars above, this place has a soul of its own. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us.

Amazing place with incredible scenery in both poor and good conditions. Great for an exciting adventure with all of the usual comforts once indoors, really enjoyable to live in a simple and minimal way up in the mountains.
