Cath's place is central to old penryn and conveniently 3 doors away from my son. we knew there was no parking and not a problem as we travelled by train and bus, the bus into Falmouth stops just over the road, the station is 10 minutes walk uphill. the house is tastefully furnished with all you need for a short stay. unfortunately my son is about to move to the other side of Penryn! Penryn itself is a lovely small town with a good selection of pubs, cafes and takeaways, and has a lot of history, but quieter than Falmouth.

Fabulous 2 night stay. Great base to explore Falmouth and various towns and villages along the coast and up the estuary/Roads, with a good selection of cafes and restaurants nearby. The accommodation was as advertised and spotlessly clean. Annette was very friendly and helpful on check in with local recommendations, plus we appreciated the personal touch of delicious homemade flapjacks and fresh cut garden flowers. The patio area was lovely too. Perfect short break, thank you.

We had stayed at this property before so we knew it was going to be lovely and just right for us. The flat is spacious clean and well equipped. There are essentials in the kitchen salt pepper spices olive oil and lots more too. Very thoughtful. Great location for deli supermarket and cafes. I would highly recommend this property.

Amber’s place is located in a great part of Penryn — we were minutes from the Famous Barrel pub and delicious pizza at Pizzeria 42 and an easy walk to Bailey’s Farm Shop and Falmouth Marina. The flat is roomy, clean and comfortable and a real home away from home. The parking is a plus — just remember to head to the back of the property— satnav will take you to the front. Amber dealt with our questions promptly— she is a 5 star host.
