The historical brown stone building was beautifully renovated a few years ago. The ceiling is high up and the room is spacious that you feel great. The mattress is one of the most comfortable ones that you can sleep like a sleeping beauty. You feel refresh in this pleasant place after the touring or working in the busy city. I hope my guest(s) feel like home in my place. I am present in the home with my guest(s) and I am ready to help with questions about NYC; transportation and museums etc.

This place is only for one person who wants a nice affordable base to get out and explore the city. you can be anywhere in Manhattan in 5-20 mins with the 456 trains only a few blocks away (Midtown 5 mins on train, Union Square 10 mins, Chinatown 20 mins) these will also get you to Brooklyn in no time. Harlem is an authentic NYC experience the neighborhood is a little rough but be polite and mind your business and you won't have any problems. VERY QUICK EXPRESS BUS TO LAGUARDIA AIRPORT

Great find. Harlem has so many gems and this location is walkable to most of them. The city is nearby and just a 20 minute walk to Central Park. The place is gorgeous, but spent most of our time enjoying the surrounding activities. Fun decor inside the place and a beautiful outside garden/sitting area. Good deal for the location. Thanks for having us!

Your best bet to explore NY. We happened to spend a long weekend and found Alex’s place just perfect. Its location is amazing, within walking distance to Central Park, many restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the public transport. The room and bed were comfy, and the flat super well equipped which allowed us to cook breakfast and meals. The host was most gracious, instructions were always clear and allowed us to store our bags so we could take advantage of our time in the city. 100% recommended!

We had a great stay in Eric’s accommodation! It is located conveniently about 5 minutes from the subway and you can reach the centre of the city in 15 minutes. Eric gave us a comprehensive tour of the apartment and made us feel at home. Overall, we would recommend this accommodation highly!

North Bergen was a surprisingly pleasant neighbourhood to kick off a first visit to NYC. Bus-train transit is very accessible, right next to an expansive local park with lots of activity and awesome views of West Manhattan (particularly at night!) The room I stayed in was very clean, had a fan and AC which was a blessing (summer) and the shared bathroom situation was just fine as other people I met while staying at Luz’s were very pleasant.
