I highly recommend Derek’s place to anyone looking for a neatly kept self-contained flat in a safe neighbourhood with easy access to public transport. What’s more, Derek is a kind and thoughtful person who genuinely cares about people and will ensure you have everything you need to have a memorable stay.

I stayed with my family including 2 children for May half term for London tour. The stay was brilliant because my main focus is the cleanliness. The property was very clean I satisfied with the standard and so do my family members. The nearest tube station not walkable with children but we hire Uber to get there (£6-7), which wasn't a big issue. So it is easy to commute to central London. You will see a group of deer wondering around the neighbourhood. The kids was excited seeing these guys :). It is worth of money a for this 3 bedroom house. I would recommend for family of 6-7.

It was a great stay considering we were only there for a few days. I don’t remember if it was or wasn’t listed but there wasn’t an oven. But Lulu is a great host, we needed tissues late at night, and 10 minutes after we texted her someone came up and got us tissues, that is exceptional service! One thing I did not like was the shower water gets all over the bathroom floor and takes hours to dry. Long showers aren’t recommended as the drain is a bit slow. But overall a good stay very nice location (next to 2 bus stops) and it’s a nice area of romford.
