This was a lovely cottage in a lovely village. Chloe was very helpful about how things work in the property and was quick to reply to any messages. Everything was clean and comfortable and just what we needed. Shop, pub and takeaways all within walking distance. I don’t usually sleep well when I’m not in my own bed but slept like a baby. Thank you, will book again if we are back next year

Great house, have used before and would use again

We had a wonderful weekend in Eugenie's house. It's quirky decor is marvellous and every time you pass a piece you notice something new. It's location was perfect for us and also was easy access to central London too. We'd definitely stay again.

We had a quick but lovely stay. The house is super cute and cozy and well located. Karen and her family were very friendly and made us feel at home. We are definitely coming back next year.

We lovely Rebecca place. Calming and airy decor made us feel relax and at home. We had everything we needed. It was a perfect fit for our group of three generations of women. Beautifully appointed rooms one for each of us and so many lovely spaces with room to relax as a group or have some personal space. The outdoor areas, especially on the riverside were magical watching the swans glide by. If you’re considering this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed. Communication was also fantastic :-)

Our short stay here was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and tidy. Slightly smaller than what the pictures show but ain't to bad for a small family or couple. The area was nice and quite. Bed was really comfortable. We do like a TV in our room but didn't mind it so much. Will defo being staying here again and will defo mention this place to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Kitchen Hall cottages - the swimming pool made it very special for our 4 year old!! Wendy and Max were very responsive and we appreciated their recommendation to visit The Rainbow and Dove - the food was delicious! We visited Hatfield Forest National Trust for a big walk too - it was lovely and would recommend this.

We had a lovely stay with our dog who enjoyed the spacious garden. Mary Beth was very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

Hugh and Sally are fantastic hosts – very attentive and responsive. The flat is lovely and has everything you need, including a washer-dryer, which was super convenient. It’s in a great location, close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

Just what I needed! I had work in London and this beautiful airbnb was a perfect solution. Photos do not do it justice, so cute and homely and includes everything you might need during your stay. Brilliant host and super responsive.

The Byre is absolutely stunning in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Vanessa is very helpful and friendly and left us with lots of lovely "goodies" which were lovely and much appreciated. We had a lovely few days and will definitely return again in the not distant future.

Very well located apartment, short walk to the ration with direct trains into London and also a short walk into St Albans high street. The flat was as described and like the photos. Modern clean and had everything needed for the stay. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at Lychgate House, it felt like a real home from home. Everything was good and as described and shown in the photos. On top of that the bed was very comfy and it was so quiet at night. Lovely to hear the church bells in the daytime. Marie was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for three weeks and it was a wonderful location, clean and tidy home with lots of amenities! The home is on a beautiful village green with lots of dog walks around Anna was super responsive in answering any questions we had which was great Would recommend!

This barn conversion is in a very beautiful setting it's peaceful and you are fully surrounded by greenery whilst being close to city links It's spotlessly clean and has everything you need from soft clean towels, luxurious bedding plus every kitchen appliance and utensil needed to be fully self catering. It's lovely to know you only have to bring your luggage and everything is ready for you m. Its tastefully decorated and lots of care has gone into the furnishings it feels 5 star and I can't recommend it enough We will be returning here again and again

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay overall. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary utensils and appliances. The beds were clean and comfortable, and having Netflix available for guests was a nice touch. The bathroom included both a bathtub and a shower, which was great. However, there was no lock on the bathroom door, and the hot water was a bit difficult to adjust — likely due to a gas heating system. Also, the heat/smoke alarm was quite sensitive and went off easily, even with normal cooking, which could be a bit disruptive. Despite these small issues, the property was cozy, well-located, and had everything we needed. We’d be happy to stay again!
