Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hauraki District

We had planned to stay a few years ago but sadly Covid stopped our plans so it had been a long time coming and it did not disappoint in the slightest! The location was perfect and the house was spacious and grand yet had cosy areas to sit around the fire, all the games the kids could dream of a a chefs dream kitchen! Not to mention the spa and the wonderful bath for those of us that wanted to simply relax! We have already booked again and can’t wait! What a find xx

Wonderful place to stay. We were two couples and one toddler and it was a very comfortable for all. We enjoyed mountain biking and surfing during the days and The Spa Pool was a great ending to the day. Would definitely book again!

The location was great in the middle of town , half a block from beach access and walkable to great restaurants and brew pub. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked , multiple areas to gather out side and a hot tub to enjoy after the beach. A good choice for family fun with beach equipment and water sport equipment provided.

Was a nice accomodation, walking distance to town and easy to find

Beautiful, neat & clean Self contained unit. The deck was so beautiful and artistically decorated, & surrounded by trees with a peeping view of water. Host Coro is a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful. Her dog Peppy is so cute and calm & adorable. We really had a wonderful time there on my husband's Birthday. So Glad to have Coro in celebrating the Birthday. We will definitely come & stay here again.

Fabulous place to stay! Great location. The house was very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen with every thing you need. There is a lovely outdoor area out the front and the spa was a luxury. There are three good sized bedrooms, the beds are quite firm, but fine for a short stay. Gina and George are so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

This location is wonderful. My family love that farm. My kids enjoyed tranporin. Blueberry ice cream was so tasty. And Sue is very kind and friendly,

Sharon was a friendly, informative host from the outset. The privacy of her place along with its amenities were perfect for our situation. We would not look to book elsewhere if in Whangamata again.

Excellent family accommodation. we had 4 adults, one 18 month old and two small dogs. Very safe and secure so the family could relax. Great amenities for a family. Our second visit here because it is so easy.

We really enjoyed staying at Sue&Ron's place. It was nice and cozy. The view was spectacular. Sue&Ron are very friendly. We highly recommend their place🤗

This house was a great spot for 2 families and dogs. Huge back yard for kids and animals to play in, a 3 story tree house to entertain the kids, lovely large front deck with all day sun. The house is modern, equipped with everything you would need for a short stay, cafe just across the road and very quick walk to the beach, dairy and fish and chip shop.

Nicola was a wonderful host! She was there to meet us and made us very welcome, the cottage was clean, quiet and cosy. Also, so great having her cafe out the front, beautiful food, great staff and would recommend to others. Many thanks Nicola! Mandy and Calum

Incredible weekend away at this gorgeous beach house. Nina & Graham were super helpful with our plans and last minute booking. Perfect location, close to beach and town ~ yet private and homely. This is our 3rd stay here and we will def he back for more. Thankyou again!

We had a great stay at Debbie’s! The accommodation was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

We put up five friends from Auckland. House was extremely comfortable and everyone slept well with the five seperate beds. Would highly recommend for families or groups.

We had a wonderful month long stay at Steve's place with family from overseas. Was absolutely perfect would highly recommend for anyone looking for an extended stay at one of the best beach towns in Coromandel. Steve was very helpful and made sure we felt at home our entire stay!

Great location - The Harbour broadwalk is a 2 minute walk. You can see the Harbour from the lounge. Spacious and very clean. Nicely furnished with excellent bedding and kitchen equipment. Everything you need for that Whangmata get-away.

Loved our stay at this lovely home. felt at home and had everything we needed for our stay. Great communication from the hosts. Definitely recommend this for a good breakaway.
