Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Headington

Es handelt sich um ein liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus im Herzen Abingdons. Die besten Pubs sind fußläufig erreichbar und der Bus nach Oxford und Didcot (von dort Zuganbindung nach London) fährt fast vor der Haustür. Es gab einen Begrüßungskorb und viele andere Details wie Ohrenstöpsel, da ein Schlafzimmer an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt. Wir haben daher sehr gut schlafen können.

Alison’s cottage was everything we wanted and more. Everything was in pristine condition, and it had everything we needed for a perfect weekend stay. We stumbled upon this gem and couldn’t be more grateful we were able to book it. The only downside to the trip was having to leave! Alison was incredibly responsive, which made everything even smoother. We truly can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at the house - we were five adults and so the three double rooms were perfect for us and we used the fourth bedroom to get ready (we were attending a wedding). Even better you can walk to Parks Road in town by going down the little cycleway a lovely 15-20 mins walk. We loved the feeling of homeliness and the extensive selection of plants and fab little garden. Absolutely wonderful.

The house was absolutely lovely – the perfect getaway for us and a few friends. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Phoebe was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and welcoming, even greeting us when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back!

Nick’s place was exactly as described. It is very bright and clean. There’s a charming little garden in back for tea. It has all the amenities needed. It was convenient walking distance to the park and ride for trips into Oxford or for that matter London, via bus. We rented a car for day trips and it was very easy to park the car on site. The couple of times I asked Nick a question he was always very responsive.

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous location, very well equipped accommodation with lots of extras. Made to feel welcome by Helen who responded to any messages almost immediately. Fantastic location for walking and some lovely places to visit. The only thing that would have been helpful in the welcome book was information on the nearest local shops for provisions and nearest supermarket, like there was for places to eat.

A perfect stay for us. A quiet location and we had some relaxing moments outside watching the sunsets in the evenings. Lesley has been fantastic. We mislaid a key to the cottage and she was so quick to get us another one. So impressed. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen were pristine and the lounge had the most comfy sofa I've been on in an Airbnb. All in all a great experience.

This was our second stay at Susie's property and both times it has been exceptional. The location is perfect, quiet but close to everything. Free parking is a huge plus too. We had a fabulous break and would love to visit again some time.

We loved our stay at The Old Post Office. Elizabeth was a great host and made us feel welcome and right at home. The location in Broadway can’t be beat and we would recommend Elizabeth’s home to anyone wanting a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed and more! Very welcoming to us and our dog. We shall be back!

A beautiful and peaceful cottage with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It was lovely to have everything there to make up a yummy breakfast! The location is great and walking distance to the village and pubs and restaurants.

Afsoon was a phenomenal host. Super warm, helpful, considerate with a heart of gold. Her food was incredible. I highly recommend the 3 course meal and her delicious chocolates! The house was immaculate and beautiful, perfect for my time in Windsor.

the house and garden made an ideal location for a family celebration. made for a fabulous time. loved the coffee machine and arga and bbq. great space, very homely.

Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. A very comfortable clean spacious place to stay with full range of facilities and wonderful hot tub. A great scenic outlook over the lake and easy walking access to the spa close by.

Very enjoyable stay. Jan and team were very responsive throughout our stay. The villa was fantastic, beautiful rooms, spacious and lovely view over the lake. Would definitely consider coming again in the future, and the family all loved the place!

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.
