Cabin holiday rentals in Hedmark

Very nice farm inside the woods. The experience of living in the woods is amazing. The house is very nice and cozy, made out of wood, but with all the comforts. There is a very nice river as well, and a very large area. The host is very nice and responsive. It is reachable only by car. Overall would recommend for a unique experience in the woods.

We stayed here over Easter and were so happy we booked for the next Easter right after 🙂

A fantastic nice cottage! Well appointed and tastefully decorated! All top quality. Great views , lovely with the big windows. Nice outdoor area and skiing trails nearby. We/the extended family had a great time! Great communication with Elin. Recommended!!

Fantastic place to stay and a great accommodation. Hot tub was a one heated by fire, which takes a long time to heat up, which I would say is the only draw back. Otherwise the entire place is fantastic and would stay again.

This cabin is truly epic. The most incredible special location and view. You won’t want to leave. And the amenities of the cabin are all there, it’s very clean and everything is hassle-free. Would wholeheartedly recommend if you’re looking for a break to escape from everything and totally immerse yourself in relaxation.

uncomplicated / simple / no frills... great for our short stopover

I worked remotely for a month and Stefan's home was perfect for this. Good desk (sitting and standing), good monitor, lots of space, nice bathroom, sauna and fast internet. 5 minutes away from the ski pistes. I really enjoyee my stay here! Stefan is responsive and a good host.

Fantastic great cabin on a beautiful view plot. Sun from 08:00 to 22:00. The cabin showed little wear and was perceived as in very good condition. Beautiful with indoor swimming pool/sauna/shower. We enjoyed the days we were here 😀

We were positively surprised by the cabin, the location and the surroundings. Everything was up to expectations. The cabin has a terrace all around with several seating areas and a gas grill. The hiking opportunities are many and good information with maps is available in the cabin. All four of us were very pleased with our 5-day stay and recommend the cabin both to families with children and couples who want a quiet holiday with trips and relaxation. Falling asleep to the sound of waves peacefully clashing onto the shore, while watching the sun set over the mountains made us regret not having stayed here for longer. The view is utterly impressive, Miriam is a super friendly host and the place itself has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Wow!! What a fabulous cabin. It was just what we needed and hoped for. The lake view and surroundings were absolutely stunning. We could have stayed for months. It is so peaceful and was a privilege to stay there. Laura was fab, communication from the day of booking was perfect, she was so kind in letting us know that it was a public holiday before we arrived and even got basic supplies for us on arrival. We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. I would absolutely recommend Laura’s cabin to anyone who just wants to get away from the world and relax in such a special, magical place. Thank you Laura, we will definitely be back.

The two of us spent a week in the cozy Ekornhytta and felt comfortable from the first moment! The house is very well equipped (also for more people), window views of the lake, fireplace and sauna provide the Norwegian feel-good atmosphere. In the area around the house there are many hiking trails, bike paths and trails with great views of Rondane and beyond. And the squirrel is not a marketing gag, it actually passed its feed station. :-) Communication with Sandra and Stine as a host is straightforward and quick!

We had wonderful days in a fantastic environment and a great house. On the day of departure, there was a visit from a reindeer. What more could you want?

Great cabin and such great hosts :D The internet worked absolutely perfectly (almost the first time it happens to us, as we have been up in the mountains every year for the last 15 years) The house is in new condition There is nothing negative to say about the house The cottage was absolutely perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids Suggestions for improvement (personal desire): - External speaker for TV

Very pleased with the cabin, the kids had a great time. New and nice, clean and neat. Large parking space and relatively private considering that this is a cabin area. The dice roll was very good. Make sure you download the parking app for the gate, it was about NOK 1000 extra for me here now.

Trina was an amazing host from the moment we inquired about the cabin until we left. She is responsive and over the top kind. The cabin is pristine, relaxing, comfortable and has THE MOST amazing views! We can't wait to return.
