Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

Abi was an exceptional host! The location was ideal, with convenient free street parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.

Very cozy, clean room with a mini-fridge and filtered water. They just put a new memory foam mattress on the bed, which was very comfortable. Stella was quick to respond to messages and very kind and accommodating. It was so nice to come back to this very private and quiet room after a long day out in the city! Within walking distance of several metro stations.

Great hospitality. Clearnly environment. Stored luggage early before check in. Very quiet and calm.

great place!! very comfortable and clean. the location is great to visit Manhattan. I was able to park my car there and take a 20min bus to the city without any issues. I definitely will be back!

The place was very cozy and homey. It was renovated very recently, so everything felt new. The living room and kitchen were spacious and well equipped. It was evident that Karla the host thought about all the small details to make this a great stay. The house is a walkable distance from bus routes to NYC. Karla is super responsive and addressed all the questions we had quickly and efficiently!

Anna’s place is super convenient and clean. The location is so walkable you so many spots and Chelsea market is right across the street. Anna and Stephen are so helpful and allowed us to checkout late. She is super friendly and very responsive. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the city.

The location was perfect for our needs to be walkable to the theatre district. Amazing Thai restaurant just downstairs and having the bodega right there was perfect. If you ever wondered what it would be like to live in NYC I think this apartment gives you a great experience of that. Area felt very safe and had a cool vibe. Incredible food right there no need to wander far at all. Would stay here again for sure

I dealt with Hope's husband, Matt. I have to say he was one of if not the best communicators of many hosts I've dealt with. Also very helpful especially dealing with the finances of the stay. After I booked he offered some very legit means of saving money. Then when some things came up and I had to cut my stay short, Matt generously refunded my entire fee. Many hosts are very 'stingy' if things come up (which happens to everyone once in a while) and won't refund unless they can rebook, or will prorate. That's fine, but doesn't feel good. Matt was more concerned about my having a good experience with him than milking our transaction for every dollar. 5 star host! The place itself was clean and in a great location. Be aware it photographs larger than it feels in person. And might seem a tiny bit noisy if you aren't used to NYC apartment living. Those minor quibbles were more than made up for by working with excellent hosts who are compassionate and care about their guests experience.

Amazing location and host! Responded immediately every time, helped with luggage storage recommendation because we arrived early morning, and would check in to ensure things were well. The home was clean, easy to access and the location was perfect. Only 1 block from Times Square without the feeling of being in Times Square and the crowds that come with it. When I go back to NY, I’d want to stay there again!

Mira is a wonderful host. Very helpful and responsive. The location is, for New York, surprisingly quite. Also no noise from the neighbours at all. We always felt safe in the area where the appartment is located. As a matter of fact we were quite happy to walk back from Timesquare to the appartment after midnight. The appartment is well appointed with all the amenities to make it a most comfortable stay. It was excellent value for money! Thank you so much Mira to make us feel so welcome.

After spending two years working in Ukraine, I needed a peaceful and calming place to stay, while still being in a centrally located area. Alex's place offered both of these to me, with a sweet apartment, comfortable bed, and an easy communication with the host. The place was clean, had all I needed for cooking, and I was able to recuperate just as I hoped. I would stay in this apartment again.

Location Location Location! Very hard to find a neat place to stay on UWS. This apartment has great restaurant selection right at the door step. Either for a cozy dinner or kids crazy morning routine. Keep in mind this is NYC so not elevator access if you need but it was ok for us even with stroller. Overall recommend this place if you budget allows.

This is the best air bnb experience I have ever had. The place itself was absolutely beautiful, curated thoughtfully, attention to detail, every comfort you could want and more. I was best man for a wedding, and this served as home base for the wedding party. They all also got air bnbs in NYC and it was just an onslaught on complaints - this air bnb was nothing but rave review. A big part of that was the host, Anthony. Anthony was extremely accomodating, responsive, generous, thoughtful, proactive - and kind. I am 100% going to be looking to stay here every time I come to NYC, I feel no desire to go anywhere else or even consider a hotel. If you're thinking about it, just do it - you will not regret it. 10/10!!!!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

This Airbnb was perfect for our needs! It was clean, comfortable, and close to public transit. AJ was easy to get a hold of and he even brought us chargers twice. It's in a beautiful neighborhood, too. There are lots of options to eat around the place.

Being welcomed by the entire family to getting end to end support during the stay, it was a great experience staying at this bnb .. amazing view , kitchen fully stacked , very prompt response , extremely helpful attitude… would recommend stay here if you want to be just around NYC but don’t want the hustle bustle of the city

Great host, amazing location, and quite cute neighborhood incredibly close to the PATH! Hoboken was great and getting into Manhattan was incredibly convenient. The Airbnb was spotless and the couch was already made for my dad. Roomy, homey, and a great stay. Loved this place!! If I ever need an Airbnb in Hoboken I will look to rebook this place

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is just like the photos, and in a lovely neighborhood with grocery, coffee, restaurants, subway, etc. nearby. The bed is super comfortable...amazing water pressure...all located in a quiet building. I would definitely stay here again!
