We had a wonderful stay at this very cute, charming, and peaceful cabin nestled in the heart of Idyllwild. The location was perfect — just a short walk to town, yet it still felt tucked away and off the grid, offering plenty of peace and quiet. The cabin was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with all the comforts we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. We especially loved how close it was to some of the best hiking trails in the area, making it easy to explore the outdoors without much driving. Whether you're looking to unwind or adventure, this cabin strikes the perfect balance. We would absolutely book again!

Weekend trip with the family up to idyllwild in pursuit of fresh air and quality time. Despite the abundance of local activities, we really just wanted a laid back weekend together. The rooms were very clean and inviting, the kitchen was spotless and functional, the deck had amenities all in great condition. The hot tub was what sealed the deal. We’ve had many hot tubs that were low in water, cloudy or just not functioning. This one was just right. It was a short stay but we were very comfortable in our stay. Our host was responsive, friendly and gave detailed instructions for everything we needed to know. Thanks for hosting us!

The perfect Airbnb! The highlight is the yard. Great fenced in yard for dogs, hot tub was easy to use and was super clean, hammocks were amazing to lounge back and you really feel the private space despite being on a pretty tight street. Appears to be a hiking trail at the end of the road. Easy drive to the village and the lake. Great modern amenities (like AC:Heater) but with the old school cabin charm. We will definitely be booking this again!

Can’t say enough great things about this place. The house is so charming and in a great location close to town. Very clean, Comfy beds, soft towels, everything we needed in the kitchen. 10/10 style and accommodations. We traveled with 2 preschoolers and it was absolutely perfect for our little family. We loved the hammocks and playing in the creek behind the property. Will absolutely be back

Raccoon Rock is a perfect place to go for relaxing and decompressing. It is a quaint cabin with rustic cabin and 60’s vintage furnishings . Less than a 5 minute drive to downtown Idyllwild, it was very conveniently situated. With a large deck, wood burning fireplace and well maintained hot tub, you can’t ask for a better place to stay! The host was friendly, responsive and helpful with a well put together “House Rules” book that also gave ideas and recommendations as to what Idyllwild had to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway and will definitely be returning 😊

Had a wonderful time at Nikki‘s home. It was everything that my husband and I hope it would be. We really appreciate the communication that we had with Nikki. She was very responsive and the place was just lovely all the way around it was very clean had every single thing we needed and we felt right at home. Will definitely visit again. 😊

This was the perfect spot! Joseph’s place was spotless and had a great JT design esthetic. Perfect for a couples getaway. We even had a roadrunner greet us on the porch on our last morning.

Our family loved staying in the little A Frame! Lots of homey touches & natural decor that was practical and yet beautiful. The town is walkable from the home. Very peaceful location! Host is very responsive. (People with mobility issues would have a hard time with the stairs).

Perfect weekend getaway in the mountains! This 2 bed / 2 bath home was perfect for our little family (2 adults, 10 month old & 2 dogs). Downstairs- 1 bdr, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining & living, sliding door to patio. Upstairs - 1 bdr(no door), 1 bathroom. We brought our own pack&play crib (but we noticed this Airbnb has one too!) & set it up in the downstairs bdr. Note: we also brought our own portable blackout curtains which were much needed. The downstairs bathroom has a tub. Upstairs- the bdr doesn’t have a door but there’s a short mesh safety gate which is perfect for dogs & babies. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. Really appreciated the secure dog run for our dogs! They had no problem going potty out there. Also something to note: there’s a lot of noise outside the house including roosters, woodpeckers that peck at windows, birds and other animals that land on the roof. If you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs. Overall the home was clean & organized.

Arriving here was like walking into your home. It was immediately inviting, comfortable and clean. Nathan was quick to respond when I asked about bringing our two cats and he was more than happy to host them. I originally picked his cabin for the fenced in yard, but the tree top deck ended up being phenomenal! Myself, my husband and both cats spent the entire weekend on that deck enjoying the quiet and watching all the wildlife. We are already planning to stay here again and will be staying even longer next time!

I absolutely loved my stay at the cabin! The space was serene, stylish and thoughtfully curated which was just the kind of energy I needed. Everything aligned with rest and restoration! The place was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the outdoor space was a beautiful bonus. I appreciated the attention to detail and clear communication.

This location was wonderful for serenity and a quiet weekend. The cabin is very cozy. I love the outside deck and the beautiful woodwork on the inside of the house. Great location for a small family, or anyone who wants a peaceful visit. The property is well taken care of and very clean.

We loved our stay! My partner and I came here to escape the city life and find some peaceful surroundings, and Danny’s home was just that. This particular neighborhood was very quiet with minimal vehicular traffic yet, just a short 15-20 min drive into town. Our pup loooved the fully fenced backyard. Although we didn’t use much of the upstairs (so we could stay downstairs with our dog) we really appreciated the board games! Oh and! A fully stocked kitchen made cooking every meal so convenient.

Our stay in Big Bear was fantastic, the house had everything we needed and then some. Great attention to detail and small touches to make you feel at home. So many games and activities for our kids, they didn’t want to leave. Kirsten was very responsive and flexible. We can’t wait to come back and have already told our family and friends about this amazing gem!

Loved my stay here!!! It was my second stay there, so that should say a lot. Loved waking up and enjoying coffee in the morning outside and then spending the afternoons and the evenings enjoying the peace and quiet out there. And definitely enjoyed all of the amenities. We had an awesome weekend. The cabin was very clean and it was very peaceful. It was wonderful to find a place that had a fenced in yard for the pups to run around. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for sharing!

This property was an absolute DREAM! My fiancé and I were truly blown away with how unique and photogenic the house was. It had the perfect location with so much privacy. It was everything we were looking for. Watching the sunrise and sunset here was mesmerizing, the stargazing at night was surreal. All the natural light in the house had us waking up in time to really make the most of the day. The outdoor cowboy tub was an awesome touch to beat the heat after hiking at the national park. The little garden with the disco balls and the hammocks were my favorite place to relax in. The host is SO responsive and made this whole booking stress free. Would LOVE to come back here again! I’d recommend this property to anyone.

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage! It is truly downtown and walkable to everything. The cottage was even larger than I expected, and extra clean. The bed was super comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water (which isn't always true in Airbnbs). We will definitely be back!!

Great place to get away. Nice host. In certain sense, it's close to lots of places, such as Julian, Ramona, and of course, Palomar Mountain and it's Observatory.
