Holiday rentals with beach access in Henderson County

We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

We felt very lucky to find this place in a pinch. Our other air bnb that we booked a month+ ago had frozen water pipes. Tamera responded very quickly to our panicked, last minute booking. The place is immaculate. We had everything we needed. We were grateful for our stay here.

We’ve been to Rumbling Bald multiple times and this has been my favorite residence of all! It’s easily accessible, has tons of space, and is well equipped. But the host and her proactiveness and accessibility are what make outstanding. We absolutely loved our time there and hope to make it back again sometime!

If you're looking for a condo in the Sapphire Valley Resort don't hesitate to book Heather's place! It was fully stocked with everything we needed and honestly the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed at!!! It was a super easy check in/out process, the decor was super charming, beds were so comfy, and Heather had really high quality shower/kitchen supplies. We were pleasantly surprised with all the extra touches! In addition to this we also really enjoyed the pool, lake, playground, and arcade. It was the perfect family getaway!

We had a great time. The views are beautiful and the house is spacious with a great layout for a large group. The house has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished with a fun lake theme. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The kids had a wonderful time at the private lake! They paddled around the lake in their floats and played on the sandy shady beach. It was a bit warm to try out the hot tub and the fire table on the porch but we hope to come back in the spring or fall to take advantage of all the amenities this house has to offer.

We had a great time spending a few nights here over Spring Break with our kids! Brandi was incredibly helpful and responsive with anything we needed. She even kept us in the loop with local information on burn bans with the conditions being so favorable for fires to catch. The place was very clean and we all had a blast! One thing I'll note for other families with small children. The spiral staircase is the only method inside of getting from the main floor to the basement. Our youngest needed a lot of supervision, even with the door closed, to make sure he didn't slip down or fall from the top ledge. It's definitely not a deal breaker, just something I wish I would've paid a little more attention to when reviewing photos of the listing.

Our stay in Brevard was absolutely amazing and the accommodations were truly incredible. Dominic and Katy were perfect hosts and very responsive when I had a question. The place was immaculate, beds were very comfortable, pillows were great, and linens and towels were pristine and crisp! The house was equipped with everything you could need. The community is beautiful with great amenities, lakes, and hiking trails which we took advantage of for sure!! We ventured into beautiful downtown Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest exploring the many waterfalls This will be my go to house when I take my next trip to Brevard!! Thank you Dominic and Katy for sharing your beautiful home and being amazing hosts!! Until the next time!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was spacious and comfortable. Very thoughtful touches and a great view of the lake.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

My husband and I stayed here for three days with our pup. The space is well kept, clean, and welcoming. Mary was sweet to reach out before check in and throughout our stay with questions. The fenced in space was awesome for our dog, and they had dog toys! The hot tub was clean. You can hear the pigeon river and walk down to a mild island in the river. The kitchen is well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet - we would definitely recommend!!!! You have to dump your trash at end of stay, but the dump is literally 3 min down the way, super easy, and free of charge (for us at least)! The trails around here are AWESOME! Cheer on some art Loeb thru hikers - or stay here is a celebratory rest!

This was my second time staying at Lindsay's place and it was just as wonderful as my first visit. The rental is great and is well stocked with everything you could want or need. I hope I'll be able to make a third visit in the future!

I can only rate Andrea on her communication. Unfortunately we were scheduled to come the same time Hurricane Helene made her presence. Andrea kept us up to date on weather conditions throughout storm. Unfortunately we were unable to get there to see the home ourselves, but I would definitely book again with Andrea just based on her communication. I hope that they did not endure too much damage, but unfortunate Lake Lure has a lot to recover from.

Had a very nice and relaxing stay. Alicia was great and checked on us. Home was in very nice condition and had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay at Kim's place. It was very convenient to our son's wedding venue on Lake Fairfield. The area is so beautiful and Kim's place was very clean, well appointed and updated. It was easy to find and easy to access per the directions. Kim was always responsive to any questions I had and the clear communication was appreciated. We would definitely book again.

It is rare an Airbnb is even better than the photos but Derek and Misty's place was just that. No matter how much time you are planning to spend at the condo it is equipped with everything you could need and more. I have been coming to Lake Lure for over 10+ years and highly recommend their condo if you are coming with 2-3 people. It is also very pet-friendly. Hoping to be back soon!

It was absolutely perfect for our anniversary getaway. Host was friendly and responsive. Area was beautiful and peaceful (even with rebuilding after hurricane helen). Room was perfect just like pictured. Definitely will recommend and plan to return.

Absolutely perfect for our needs! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessities, making our stay stress-free. The host truly thought of everything and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, always quick to answer any questions we had. April & Derek’s condo was beautiful and included all the necessities and more that we enjoyed while staying there - from washer pods, dryer sheets, extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee pods & seasonings. The one and only down side was the lake was inaccessible and drained on the side we were facing because of the restoration work due to hurricane devastation. We were able to take the kids to the indoor pool, we played mini golf and corn hole and they also had an Easter egg hunt & visit from the Easter Bunny on Saturday. We would love to return when the lake has been restored because it’s a very nice resort only two hours away from us. Oh and the views driving around the towns are amazing.
