Inspiring, beautiful, luxurious and a view 10X of what is shared in the photos. Thank you for hosting me. The gated road with evening to late morning security guard outstanding. Gated neighborhood was impressive and secure. The residence here is ample in parking space, very well lit at nighttime and minimal in stairs for ease in accessibility. Exterior facing the valley and ocean with unobstructed view, large pool, comfortable and high-end exterior furniture, all facing the pacific ocean horizon and jungle valley is incredible to enjoy. Insects and bugs non issue, plus its apart far enough from neighbors to enjoy some calm volume level outdoor music. Interior is luxury, with floor to ceiling end wall to wall windows both front side / back side. AC is powerful, wifi too. Dining area, epic, couch tv's are epic. Bathrooms, Master Bedrooms and Guest rooms are all impressive. Everyone speaks to the mountain road upwards to arrive here. Its really nothing for any modern vehicle.

Pricilla and Pia were absolutely amazing hosts! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had an extended family in Costa Rica. They were always just a message away—whether it was for a quick question or an unexpected emergency (our little daughter spiked a fever and needed to see a doctor), they were there with immediate support, kindness, and guidance. Their recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and local services were all top-notch and made our trip even more special. Thanks to them, we felt safe, informed, and incredibly well taken care of. My family—including our three young kids—had the time of our lives at the Seamonkey. We left with unforgettable memories and full hearts. Highly recommend this incredible stay to anyone visiting the area!

Our friends rented this house a year ago and loved it so much that we decided to book it for our honeymoon, and we are happy we did. The Casa Mirame concierge team made everything flawless - from restaurant recommendations and setting up excursions, to even booking our 4x4 rental at the Cobano Airport. You need 4x4. The road is steep and partially unpaved. However, the drive is more than worth it. The home is spotless, includes daily maid service, looks better than the photos, and the views are magical. The place is totally private, and the pool is AMAZING. We would watch birds and listen to monkeys and the waves in the distance while the sun set.

The place is very comfortable and cozy, super quiet and pleasant, my wife and I had a great time, in short I recommend staying here, the hosts and co-hosts are very friendly and attentive too. Thank you very much for everything

We’ve stayed with Jessica a few times in the past and this time did not disappoint, as usual! The place was spotless upon arrival and really comfortable. The view from the deck is even better than what can be captured by the photos. It’s the busiest time of year in ST and Jessica’s place is so close to town and yet very quiet, away from the noise and dust. Atv recommended to get up the hill, as the listing says. Host is super responsive and can hook you up with atv rentals, etc! Thanks for another amazing stay!

The house and surrounding environment was incredibly we saw many animals including monkeys, butterflies, curious squirrels and many colourful birds where especially the hummingbirds gets very close to you if you wish. Anne-Laures is ever helpful and fast responding if you have questions about anything 😊. The place is literally almost in the jungle with a view above it and over the ocean and that is only a 10 minute drive in your 4x4 car. I stayed in Casa Aria for 8d with a group of 7 friends, all there from the Pacific NW US to celebrate my 50th birthday. Casa Aria was the ocean-view villa of our dreams!! We were enchanted from the moment we arrived until departure. Every detail has been thoughtfully planned to optimize relaxation and enjoyment of the space. One word: magical! The housekeeper, Iesenia, was a highlight...we knew tidying up was included, but her helpfulness, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor went above and beyond our expectations. From greeting us with beautiful fresh fruit plates to facilitating fixing minor issues, she was always such a joy. It was so lovely not having to worry about dishes or towels, allowing us to focus on enjoying ourselves and being fully present with friends. Iesenia is a true gem. The outdoor livingspace & views are breathtaking, & made leaving the house to explore (which we did do :) difficult, b/c we really had everything we needed right there. Treat yourself - rent it!

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! Jason was super helpful and extremely responsive the whole time. Its a perfect location that offers privacy, easy access to the most amazing beach, just the right amount of local restaurants/market to walk to and a quick ride to get to either Manzanillo or Santa Teresa to if you want to explore further. And the photos don't do it justice, it's simple but beautifully designed. I have already recommended it to others and can't wait to come back again myself! Pura Vida indeed!

This place is over-the-top awesome. Soaring ocean views, but the center of town is just down the hill. The two bedrooms upstairs had epic views and super comfortable king beds, and the third bedroom downstairs was perfect for the kids. Eti, the host, was super responsive and helped us book all kinds of adventures throughout our stay. There was daily cleaning and laundry from friendly staff. It's basically your own private luxury hotel in one of the world's perfect surf towns.

We stayed 2 nights at the Layla house and we felt right at home, the house is very quiet and private The beds are very comfortable and ideal for all 8 guests The person who takes care of the house is always attentive to open the door at all times We would definitely go back

Yonatan’s home and hospitality is the best experience I have ever had on AirBnb—the house is stunning, Yonatan’s communication was beyond excellent. He set up cabs for us, gave amazing restaurant recommendations, had a private link to set up excursions with Local Bird, a great delivery service to get groceries (SippDelivery) and had beer and wine and treats from the AMAZING local bakery waiting for us upon arrival. The beds are soooo comfortable and laundered to perfection by the housekeeper, Deyling, who comes every day. We brought my parents as a gift and it was a gift to us all that we chose Villa Kaleo. The pool is great, the view is gorgeous. We saw white face monkeys, iguanas, heard howler monkeys—all around the house. Highly recommend horseback riding with Oscar as well. GO!

I celebrated my birthday with my family in Picasa and was amazed not just the beautiful property but also Pierre- our host! I knew I picked the right place to celebrate. We had everything we needed & was accessible to everything. The place was an oasis & able to celebrate & spend quality time with my family. Thank you Pierre, we will be back. You were so warm & every one of us loved our stay!

This place is amazing! Great location right on the beach, beautiful interior space with absolutely stunning ocean view. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredible. The pool is a great was to cool off and the deck was a great place to lounge and just enjoy life.

Super comfortable house, we were 7 people and we were very happy. We loved the pool and the view, also the privacy and tranquility. The internet is very stable to work with. Adri the host welcomed us in the best way; even with a detail for each. We would definitely return.

The service was outstanding. Thomas was there to help plan everything and was extremely responsive. House keeping staff was great!

We had a great stay for our friend’s Bachelorette! If driving, it may be a tough to find, the outside gate is not marked, but the local shuttle drivers know where it is. We were had contact with house manager, Leo, he helped with arranging meals, groceries, transportation, excursions and answered all questions. He was welcoming and patience. The cook was great, the meals she prepped were the best during our stay. The house was gorgeous, felt private, clean and very spacious for the 8 of us (just keep in mind that you’re in the jungle so expect lots of bugs and birds!). The bedrooms had ice cold AC, were spacious and very comfortable. The views are STUNNING and the pool was perfect. It was a 5-10 minute walk to Tango Mar Hotel and the beach.

Hands down the most beautiful place we've visited. Our kids (6 &3) basically lived in the pool/bay for the 10 days we were there. We were the only unit rented out of the 8 houses, so we had the whole pool area to ourselves (and the beach most days too!). Our favorite part had to be the wildlife: howler monkeys in the trees right outside the house, countless scarlet macaws flying overhead, manta rays surfing the waves in the bay, and iguanas galore. Jeannette and Bas were wonderful communicators and so helpful with local recommendations. The setting is so beautiful that we didn't eat out once, just made food in the incredibly well stocked kitchen and ate outside with the view. Some helpful tips: 1) bring sleep masks. The curtains don't block much light and the sun rises at 5:30am making early mornings for kids! 2) It took us 7 hours each way from San Jose (traffic, ferry wait, ferry ride, etc.) so it's a commitment to visit. But oh, so worth it! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Such a lovely stay, the villa is gorgeous, views are stunning, we loved it! The hill is walkable but steep so it was definitely a good work out, we had a 4x4 and it managed it fine. Santa Teresa is great, so many restaurants and bars, we surfed/tried to, headed to Montezuma for zip wire and thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the villa. BBQ and kitchen was great, we ate in a few times and quite enjoyed watching the ant action at night. Tomi the dog was a lovely extra we discovered he loved chomping on ice cubes, he was a gem! The hosts are very responsive, loved the info they sent it was great, would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful. Comfortable. Cozy. This is a stay we will never forget!! Aside from the stunning views of the ocean and complete privacy, the villa is charming as can be - a chic bohemian beach paradise. If you’re looking to sip coffee and make breakfast in the morning, while listening to the sounds of nature (a symphony of birds, insects, and the occasional howler monkey roar) from your poolside hammock, this is the place for you!!! It will feel like you’re in a dream! Also, Fiona, our concierge, is a shining gem of a human - so kind and gracious and helpful!!! 11/10 would recommend this place. The only, and I mean ONLY, downside is that the villa is located a ways up the hill and the road is steep and treacherous in some places. We would definitely recommend a mode of transportation to get to the villa. We walked down into town most days and while we had to be careful, it was doable. The walk back up was quite challenging tho - a great workout for those more abled-bodied travelers.

We loved our stay at Christy's villa. The communication was great from beginning to end. She had some great recommendations on what to do and people we could use for tours. The villa was clean, it had a lovely pool, good internet connection, and has everything you need if you are cooking your own meals. The neighborhood grocery store was a little pricey, but convenient and had a great selection of items. The villa is in a gated community and felt very safe. The restaurant on site has good food and it's fun. I would recommend staying here!

Beautiful stay, responsive hosts and incredibly helpful, friendly on-site staff. Very quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I often had the pool to myself. This was one of the most beautiful accomodations I’ve had with the best customer service. I accidentally broke a glass and they sent someone within minutes to sweep with a dustpan and deep clean the next morning. I was impressed. I will definetly hope to return with my loved ones!

We had the best time at Villa Makai! Josefina was amazing to work with and was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations and helping us secure an ATV for our arrival. The house was unreal, with ocean views and open concept. Amazing appliances and grill, making it easy to feel at home!!! The beds were unreal comfortable and the cleaning service daily was such a nice touch to keep it feeling fresh!!! we loved the location of this spot as well, in the heart of town, but just far enough up the road so that you could escape the craziness. We love ST! Thanks again :)
