House holiday rentals in Hernando

I found the house around a lot of family I had only 10 mins away. Wonderful location. Hosts responded very quickly. Coming from PA with 5 kids and all that is included was so very helpful. From toilet papers and paper towels, to trash bags, k-cups, laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. Pool and hot tub along with the game room provided lots of memories. Will definitely be staying here again!

Lisa’s place was immaculate and we had a wonderful stay! The house had everything you could need for a comfortable stay, as well as a well equipped kitchen. The pool was a nice bonus too! We would definitely stay here again!

This home was absolutely amazing! So many amenities…We enjoyed every second. My kids enjoyed the pool and fishing from the dock. We use the kayaks that were provided to kayak to the local spring, which was breathtaking. We used their recommendation with captain Kevin to book a fishing trip that was hands-down, the highlight of our trip—we saw dolphins, swam with manatee and caught numerous fish. It was a great vacation!

Loved staying in this home with my family including 2 small children . Unfortunately the pool was too cold to enjoy but the patio/pool area is very clean and beautiful. The home is fully equipped with everything you may need and more ! A lot of towels , self-care items and more ! Spacious and clean ! Highly recommend 5/5 stars! Would definitely stay again when the weather is warmer to enjoy the pool with the kids !

This was a beautiful historic home with modern updates. It was comfortable, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The pool and surrounding area were perfect! Everything was provided that we could have ever needed. We would definitely rent again!

Absolutely lovely - place was incredibly clean, pool and outdoor patio were spotless, WiFi was perfect and the air conditioning certainly did its job. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend.

Perfect location for our plans with local family and friends. We felt totally comfortable like it was our home. No hotel vibes at all. So relaxing and the pool was a fantastic retreat! Clean, spacious, and an amazing host. We will be back!

The home is exactly as described in the listing: home was clean and came with all the boats and tubes for a fun time on the river! Lots of life jackets and goggles to use if you dont have your own. publix and walmart are a short drive in town about 10 min. The home is at the end of a small deadend couldesac with a rental on 1 side and an abandoned house on the other, beautiful nature drive, seems to be in a safe area, it was private. Plenty of space and beds, the home was clean (and we are picky) and everything was up to date not run down or worn out. Nearby fast food and "Swampys" on the water if thats what you like, but If you want quality food, drive about 30 minutes west to Inverness/Yankeetown and try Blackwater Grill, absolutely best food for you money. Being Florida natives, we didnt jump off the dock, too much grass and know what hides in the grass..we saw a huge snapping turtle in it with baby turtles near the dock. overall it was a great stay and we would come back! We loved sitting on the screened porch morning and night. Very peaceful. Very comfortable for family. Good communication during stay. Heat and AC worked well. Very convenient location to Inverness. We arrived at night it was a little tricky to find but that's what made it so private. Maybe a blue reflector on the mailbox would help! Rowboat, kayacks, canoes, horseshoes, fishing gear, plenty of games for adults and children. A great time.

This was a perfect location for our stay in Inverness. Very convenient to the bike trail as well as other activities and attractions. The home was very clean and comfortable. We would love to stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Donavan's place! Plenty of room for all members of our family to spread out and relax. The pool was great and the reclining chairs in the living room were awesome! It had everything we needed. This was the perfect place to use as a home base while in the area for my FIL's 90th birthday celebration! Thanks Donavan!

We spend 4 beautiful days at The Founders Lodge for our friend’s birthday. Tee met us out front and personally gave us a tour of the house. The 2 full master suites are gorgeous! The house is absolutely beautiful with enough room to rest & relax and it was so very clean and comfortable. The wood additions to the house made it so very cozy, that we hope to come back to next year! The pool was just what we needed for the Florida summer days. We grilled out 1 night on the gas grill that was provided by the pool. We ate at The Cove Restaurant for dinner the first night and our meals were very delicious. 3 out of the 4 of us took the Airboat tour and marked it off of our bucket list! How much fun, you have to do it!! We thank Tee for her kindness and even brought my Amazon delivery to our door, what service!!! Thank you :)

The pictures do not do it justice. The home is enormous and spotless. I usually try to leave a rental better than I left it but this time was not possible as everything was perfect. The lake was pristine. Not much fishing but I didn't get around to exploring under the lily pads to see if that's where all the fish were hiding. All the amenities were as stated. We enjoyed the kayaks and we even found an archery target box and enjoyed shooting our arrows at it with a bow we brought. There was even a huge stack of wood for the firepit so we didn't have to buy. 100/10

Beautiful home. Kimmie was quick to respond to any questions we had. Home is well stocked with kitchen and bathroom necessities. Check out was a breeze. Would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful house! I’m a neat freak and everything was clean and organized perfectly. We traveled with our 2 children and family and the place fit all of us comfortably. The pool was clean and warm as well.

The house had everything we required: very clean, comfortable beds, ample linens, well stocked kitchen, nice living room, morning coffee and evening sunsets on the deck, multiple places to eat, on the deck, under the house, or in the dining room. We had a great time catching fish on the fishing charter Pam recommended, as well as fishing in front of the house. There are many nice State Parks nearby. We used the available kayaks on the lake everyday. The airboat tour with Captain Bob located at the Blue Gator was a blast, we even saw some alligators. The 47 mile long, paved, Withlacoochee Recreational Trail, is a great place, we bicycled many 20+ mile rides with no issues. We found great live music a couple nights a short drive to Inverness. So, the house location is near an unlimited number of activities, or a nice, quiet, comfortable, private location for a relaxing vacation! Many thanks to Pam and Mark, great hosts!!!

We love the home, and being able to wake up and say good morning to the Cows! My son can’t wait to see them again…

Host was helpful and responsive, home close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores. House was clean and did what we needed it to do for my family, no complaints and would definitely book again.

I got was Jacquie’s listing showed and above. I was impressed how her property is well decorated, (quality furniture) comfy and cozy. (The interior design is great) I felt home! Kitchen is incredible! Lots of space. The house has 2 doors access which facilitated us taking our 2 dogs in and out. Jacquie was very accommodating by allowing us to bring our 2 pets. We as nature lovers loved the dock across the street. The street is in a dead end and her property is very safe and peaceful, very private. I’d keep going on and on about good things of the property and the area but I think I described the most important points. We loved everything!

Loved our stay. Erin Ashley was super helpful, communicative and kind. The house was just what I needed, peaceful on the canal just off the main river. I enjoyed taking out one of the kayaks and exploring the river. Even made a long trip upstream to a nearby spring thanks to Erin Ashley’s recommendation. And the porch overlooking the water was a great spot to unwind. I’ll definitely keep this one on the list next time I visit!
