Das Haus am See ist in Finnland mehr als eine Ferienunterkunft, das "Mökki" zwischen Wald und Wasser ist ein Sehnsuchtsort. Es wird sauniert, gewandert, mit dem Boot gefahren, durchgeatmet. Unser Mökki befindet sich am bewaldeten Südufer des Möhnesees. Und bietet hier ein bisschen finnisches Lebensgefühl. Das Häuschen steht nah am See, zurückgezogen und umgeben von Bäumen und Sträuchern. Es verfügt über eine eigene Außensauna, ein Boot und einen Kaminofen. Willkommen in eurem privaten Hideaway!

The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.
