Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.

This cute little cabin was the perfect getaway for our weekend color tour! Kerry and his family were so friendly and made sure we were comfortable upon arrival. I’m so glad I found this place so that I could take my fiancé on an amazing trip for her birthday! I’m not usually a camping type person, but staying here was super comfortable and a great way to be out in nature and off grid without being miserable in a tent. We loved grilling and sitting outside where it was peaceful and private, perfect for just the two of us. Thank you to the owners of this campground for helping us have a perfect trip!

We had a great time in Pete's house at the lake. You directly have the feeling that Pete is also using the house himself, so the house is very well equipped. Navigation leads you to a place a bit off of the actual location. But with Pete's instructions, it was no problem.

It was great to read the description/photos about this place and find it true to its words. We admire the honesty mentioned in the description. As far as aesthetics is concerned, we like the placement, the kind and quality of artworks around. We enjoyed the design ideas. As far as cleanliness, it was super clean and well maintained. We like the thoughtful details on what to have in this place for your guest to use, example; -having a good amount of kitchen utensils; -having a well lit bathroom; -having a generous rule on cancellation compared to other places; -very responsive on inquiries; -a good size refrigerator and stove; -a nice native flower arrangement on the table to greet us.

We loves our stay! The home is SO cute. And every detail was considered to make the home dog friendly. I love the proactive communication from Jacky to make sure we were taken care of at every turn. This home is the perfect quaint cottage... and feela JUST at home! We loved EVERY minute of our stay. The lake views were also incredible!
