Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Highland County

My husband and I decided to extend our honeymoon stay in the area and the lodging we had been staying at couldn’t host us for the extra day, which is how we came to find this gem! We loved this apartment and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was great and the home itself was just STUNNING. From the low lights & jazz music playing on arrival, to the cute & homey decor, to all the extras (robes, espresso, cozy blankets), this place completely impressed us. Oh, and the outdoor area was just an extra plus! The host was super responsive and sweet and couldn’t have possibly done anything better, it was all perfect! We would 100% recommend this stay and we hope to return for an anniversary trip!

We have been staying at the storefront for about 15 years. Jamie and her team took over and the updates they have done are absolutely wonderful. The creation is incredible to walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants and the accommodations are always great especially having your own little personal bar.

This place was awesome! Clean and quiet with some amazing views. There’s an abundance of wild life so be mindful when driving. The host is amazing. There’s hot chocolate and a beautiful fire place. Blankets if you choose to sit on the balcony with some hot chocolate and enjoy the view. Many food choices to choose from that aren’t too far. Would definitely stay here again and recommend you do too.

My work schedule got delayed. Did not arrive until 3 hours later than expected. She confirmed everything was good after I arrived. Excellent referrals for restaurants. Place was very uniquely decorated and welcoming. Loved the cows

We absolutely loved Martha’s place! Great location, especially being so close to everything. Bed is super comfortable! The best part is how clean the apartment is, it is the cleanest air b&b we have stayed in! Martha has everything you need for your stay, including breakfast! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this condo in Wintergreen. The condo was beautifully furnished. Very clean. And the views from the balcony are unbelievable. Since it was spring, it was very quiet which we enjoyed. The mountains were so lush and green. The host responded to any questions within minutes. Check out was a breeze. We will be booking again!

Great getaway! Peaceful neighborhood literally a 5 minute walk through a park and over the historic railroad bridge to the shops and restaurants in downtown Staunton. Kitchen was well stocked and the place is decorated with cleaver and eclectic decor. Beautiful historic building with updated/newly renovated interior amenities. Shea was helpful, very accommodating and responsive. Can’t say enough about how nice our stay was - and we’ll definitely be back! Oh yeah - hiking in the mountains was one of our reasons for coming to the area - and the entrance to Skyline Drive is like 15 minutes away. It was the perfect spot for our birthday get away!

Look no further than Bon Amis Suites for your stay in Staunton! The location is unbeatable, the bed and couch were so comfortable, parking is included, and the unit is well stocked with basics (coffee, shower soap, kitchen cookware, etc.). This was one of the best AirBnbs we’ve stayed in recently!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Home on Mole Hill! The house was clean and neat and comfortable. It felt like home! We would definitely stay again when in the area.

Our stay at The Black Horse Farm was excellent! Everything was just as described and even better than the photos! Very peaceful setting and private as well. I have been traveling to the area since the early 80s and this was our first stay with Darrel and Cindy, but it won’t be our last!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Courtney’s place in Snowshoe! The location was perfect, offering easy access to the slopes and nearby amenities. The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Courtney was a wonderful host—responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout our visit. A phenomenal stay! The place was SO clean and way more beautiful than pictured. Beds were comfortable, soaps/shampoos and towels were SUPER PLENTIFUL. Mike and Trish's hospitality was the best we've ever experienced at ANY AirBnB. Mike even spent a long time helping us install our bike rack in the dark because we were really struggling! They delivered a crock pot and tweezers (a child got a splinter) within minutes of us asking. Talk about customer service! We LOVED feeding their horses and our kids had the BEST time playing with their puppy. This was definitely the low key retreat we needed to get away from the hectic hustle and bustle of DC. Their location was wonderful for a 20 mile RT bike ride and hikes in numerous parks. We will definitely return again, it was a perfect weekend!

Clean, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, loved the rockers and swing on the front porch. We needed to make adjustments to our stay and Philip and Myrna were so helpful and accommodating.

D’s place was amazing! Peace and quiet plus a gorgeous view. Our kids loved the hike down to the river and playing bocce in the summer rain. Weather was both sunny and stormy, and it was wonderful to watch summer storms and stars all in the same night from the porch. Truly relaxed and magical. Thank you!

Really enjoyed my stay. It is just far enough from the village to give plenty of peace and quiet and privacy, but close enough to bike to the lifts and village center. The cabin was clean and extremely comfortable. I plan on coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nice to be in a newer unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great being walkable to Fire and Frost, a coffee/wood fired pizza restaurant, and we prefer the upper mountain location also being walkable to golf, tennis and trails. We hope to come back to Wintergreen soon. It is a great place to relax!

Visiting the area in May makes you feel like you’re visiting a ghost town. However, staying at this AirBNB gave you the coziness of a cabin with the privacy and comfort of knowing you’re not alone. We are so grateful for our hostess with supplying a delightfully cozy space with all the essentials for a weekend getaway away for two. We loved every minute of staying in and being unplugged from our work life.

Wonderful condo with amazing views. Close to hiking trails, and a restaurant right across the street. Watching the sunrise on the deck is so amazing and peaceful. Lauren is extremely responsive.
