Our stay at Anja's place was amazing! Even before we arrived, Anja provided us with valuable tips for our Sri Lanka trip, which helped us a lot and took our initial concerns. We were able to check in earlier for a small extra charge and were warmly welcomed. Eranga, who takes care of the house, prepared us a delicious lunch according to our wishes – a perfect start after a long journey! The house is very well equipped. The two rooms on the ground floor each include a private bathroom. Living room, kitchen and terrace are also on one level. Our children loved the pool, which is an ideal size and surrounded by beautiful palm trees. We were able to use the pool completely privately. The highlight was the roof terrace with a fantastic view of the sea and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Anja's place. Thank you for everything.

We had such a great stay. For us, by far the most beautiful and cleanest accommodation we had on our round trip. The look and furnishings of the house are a dream and can only be recommended. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. We have received many recommendations for the area. We would come back anytime.

Very clean property that's well built. Location is great with most restaurants a 15 mins walk from Telo. Room was very comfy and you have a secluded feeling. Very relaxed and peaceful.

A beautifully designed house, directly on the sands of a lovely quiet beach. Perfect for swimming, surfing or snorkeling! Views of the ocean can be seen from every room in the house. Our highlights were afternoon drinks in the pool, and champagne in the hot tub of an evening. The house is immaculate, and the staff are so attentive. The chef is fantastic, best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The house is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the very popular ‘Doctors House’. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Gads Villa is a truly magical place. The gardens are exquisitely landscaped, and the giant Velvet Apple tree is really a wonder to behold. The pool has a shallow section which is perfect for little ones, or for adults to lounge in. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed (important when traveling with 4 youngsters!). The bathrooms are likewise huge and very prettily set out. Beds are comfortable and the fans were sufficient to keep us cool at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, a few minutes tuk tuk ride into the main part of town. I personally found it very convenient to have yoga and a little spa within a few minutes walk. Secret Beach is also only a short walk away. Sahan and team were super helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. All in all a fabulous stay.

We spent a whole month in this house and were delighted! Spacious, cozy, with a lovely chill area by the river where you can relax and enjoy nature. I especially liked the rooftop – the perfect place to do yoga. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it was convenient to cook. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable, slept great. The beach is only a 5-7 minute walk and the surf spot in Weligama is about 25 minutes away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to the hosts for their hospitality!

Awesome place to stay, relax and spend time with the groups. Has full kitchen with all the necessary vessels, cutlery, utensils. The House id equipped with all the necessary stuff right from board games to smallest knifes and felt like home.

Spent 3 nights at Josephine's place. The place was super nice, spacious and had a great roof terrace. In addition, the recommendations were great - here Josephine put together a nice document that you should definitely read through. Also, the price was very fair. I highly recommend it. is a little off the beach but there is a small, cute shop right around the corner and a super delicious family-run restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) within walking distance. For most other things, it's better to take a tuktuk. Here you should definitely pay attention to the recommendation from the document, Anoura was just great :)! My only negative point is that it is a bit close to the railway line and can be a bit noisy at times - but that didn't bother us. Highly recommended!

Very cozy house in the middle of a forest. feels super quite and remote but Ahangama is right around the corner by Motobike. Couple of minutes drive to the next beach / surfing spot with some smaller shops close by. stayed for 2 weeks and has everything needed to cook or have a quite rest day at home. highly recommended!

I enjoyed my time a little off the beaten path in the middle of the countryside! The property is like a small wonderful, green oasis and is very tastefully designed. Gianluca and the rest of the staff were very friendly and I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Gianluca also gave me super helpful tips around Ahangama and was always easily accessible - a great host!

Sanjeewa and the team were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The property is spectacular and is like taking a step back in time and very well maintained. The pool area was amazing and the chef did an amazing job for breakfast and dinner with an abundance of food for us. Would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you all so much.

The place was fantastic. Exactly as the photos show and we had a wonderful stay. So spacious and clean. It was a bit hard to access as we were travelling by car, I would recommend taking a tuk tuk instead as it would be much easier. Overall fab time :) thank you

Beautiful modernly renovated traditional house. Still going on as you get that feeling that some things have but been finished yet. However clean everywhere and many modern utilities available, like oven, blender. Overall great stay and friendly host

My friends and me really liked Sanjay’s appartment and had a great time there. Sanjay is so friendly and helpful - we got coconut pancakes and fresh jackfruit from his garden for breakfast. The appartment is close to the beach, by foot approx 10/15 minutes. The mosquito nets on each beds are also a plus. We can definitely recommend the green cabin!

I had a wonderful stay. The location is convenient, and the garden is beautiful. Spending a week with the animals was truly memorable. The owner was kind and always thoughtful. I would love to stay here again.

Fantastic and quiet accommodation right on the beach. Ravith and all the others belonging to the property was very accommodating. You don't have to accept everything you're turned on and the prices sometimes deviate from the available menu, only around 100-200 LKR, anyway. Highly recommended!

The house was even more beautiful than the photos. We had a very nice stay there. The host was very helpful and gave us everything we needed. He also gave us the number of a tuktuk driver near us for when we wanted to go to the town of Unawatuna or Galle Fort. Thank you for everything!

Done accidentally found this bungalow and booked right away. Mongoose and monkeys are often found on the property. Co-host Udaya is very sensitive, always helpful! His wife cooks very tasty, I recommend! We lived in this place for about 2 weeks, I liked everything, the Internet is stable.

Our host and his family were very kind and they helped us with everything. I highly recommend to stay at this beautiful place:)
