Holiday rentals with beach access in Hillcrest, San Diego

Had a birthday getaway trip for my fiancés birthday and this place was perfect! It’s a great location for walking and easy access to the boardwalk we used the free bike rentals daily it was awesome. Thank you so much highly recommended this spot ✨

The place is super convenient for our La Jolla half marathon event. Super pretty location and lots of restaurants near by to grab food.

Quinn’s place was a great location. We were able to walk everywhere. The bay was an easy walk to get to. We enjoyed the mile walk around the bay to find places for dinner. Hosts were very quick to respond with any questions. The place had everything we needed.

It was a wonderful stay! Exactly as described with all amenities! We utilized the bikes a lot to get around the beaches! It was lovely and I will certainly remember the spot if we’re in the area again and recommend to friends! Thank you again Rex!!!

We visited San Diego with our grandson and toured his college prospects. Khwaja’s home was perfectly located! We enjoyed the home, slept well, and were able to easily drive to the various colleges, visit Old Town, Balboa Park, Little Italy, and Coronado Island. Khwaja’s home is quiet, comfortable, and the view from the living room window and the deck is lovely. Khwaja was quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Pretty much perfect. Location is just stupid perfect. Walk right over to the Del Coronado, right to the beach, right to coffee. The place is perfect for a couples romantic stay. I plan on going back each year. I would suggest using their parking at the B of A right next door. Totally worth it. I really have zero bad things to say. Value A+. Easy A+ Clean A+. Safety A+++++. Lobster rolls across the street A+. Buzzed coffee around the corner A++++. I’ll be back.

Great unit in a great neighborhood. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. Really liked the location, cleanliness, and everything that was included.

Amazing place to stay with the family. Great beaches nearby. Tanya is an excellent host who goes above and beyond for her guests. She bought a mobile crib for our infant for our 3 day trip so he could sleep well, very few hosts would do that. Would absolutely recommend to stay at her place.

We had a fantastic time at Jill's beach bungalow. It worked very nicely for our family of four. Everything was clean and the location was perfect to walk for delicous food and a very short drive for groceries. Jill was easy to reach and was very helpful. Definitely will stay here again!!!

The location is unbeatable!! Neighbors were friendly and we felt so safe! We loved the upstairs perch and the common area that was outside!

Our stay at the Blue Beach House was comfortable & quiet. The upstairs cottage was private, with a sweet covered porch and well stocked kitchen. Inside décor was creative & cozy. Colorful artwork and nice furnishings. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. Suzanne was available if we needed anything and very friendly. A great weekend stay. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kensington Cottage. The cottage was clean, well-appointed and plenty spacious enough for two adults and a four year old. We loved sitting in the courtyard near the succulent garden, mornings at the kitchen table as the sun and through the window and watching TV on the nice big sofa. We were able to walk to restaurants and the park and Kensington is very centrally located. I highly recommend this location. It will be our go-to when we visit again.

This was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The cottage is elegantly but comfortable decorated, linens high quality, kitchen well equipped, bathroom well designed with plenty of counter space for a small room. A heated toilet seat and bidet were appreciated! The entire property is beautifully landscaped and the little garden in back is serene. The overall design and layout are like something out of Architectural Digest. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Stayed for a weekend and wished it was longer! The location was absolutely fantastic. A short walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, and some fun shops. Very quick drive to SD Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World. The parking was a little tricky and if you have anything larger than a sedan it would be difficult to navigate, but there seemed to be street parking available often and we didn't end up moving the car much since the neighborhood was so walkable! House was just as cute as the photos and the couch was super comfortable!

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!
