Holiday rentals with beach access in San Diego

This was just what we needed for our stay! Easy walk to the bay, and to surrounding restaurants. Quinn gave very clear instructions on where everything was.

Me and my partner were here for a concert, the location is very walkable and beautiful. The stay is also very comforting, and exactly what we needed. The hosts were extremely welcoming, and gave us recommendations on activities, and places to eat. I will definitely be coming again.

Simon was a great host and provided more amenities than we thought! The decorations made the place feel warm and inviting. The walk to the beach was literally only a few minutes and we were able to walk to some restaurants and markets down the street easily. Overall I would highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved, and would recommend Matthew's vacation rental. We have stayed in Oceanside several times for a quick get away and this lovely location is by far our favorite. We hope we will be able to return in the near future. A parking spot is right in front of the property, Matthew's check in and out instructions are clear and easy to follow, the location cannot be beat, with the ocean and private beach just steps away. The interior has everything you could possibly need, it was clean and well stocked. I personally appreciated the binoculars and decaf coffee. It was wonderful to sit outdoors and watch dolphins, seabirds, surfers, dogs happy to be on the beach, and relax to the sound of the waves. There are many great restaurants nearby, and plenty of activities and places to visit in and around town. The best part was the feeling of being in our own little private sanctuary. Thank you to Matthew for being a fantastic host!

We had a lovely stay at Rob’s. The location is impossible to beat with amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops all in walking distance. The space is small as it is a studio but it was perfect for a long weekend with myself and my husband. Communication was extremely fast and everything was smooth as can be with our hosts!

We had a great stay, Zoe was very responsive and quick to help or answer any questions. The place was clean and looked like the pictures.

We enjoyed our time at Bayside Breeze. The house is in a good location. It’s very clean and bright. The space is comfortable, and relaxing . The bay is very close. We watched fireworks each night there and the beach is just across the main road.

Great stay, felt very safe and at home. So much to do at a walkable distance, very close to the beach, 10/10 would definitely stay again. Albert was awesome, proactive at check-in, and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Our stay at the Blue Beach House was comfortable & quiet. The upstairs cottage was private, with a sweet covered porch and well stocked kitchen. Inside décor was creative & cozy. Colorful artwork and nice furnishings. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. Suzanne was available if we needed anything and very friendly. A great weekend stay. This beautiful guest home in historic Marston Hills is perfect for a San Diego getaway! It was pristine, well-maintained, and so comfortable. We were able to walk to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, as well as nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was also a lovely amenity, and the surrounding canyon was a gorgeous backdrop. Jing is an amazing host. She truly goes the extra mile to take care of her guests. The home is stocked with amenities - kitchenware for cooking, toiletries and extra towels, even pool or beach supplies! We loved our stay in Jing’s guest home, and are so grateful for the hospitality. An amazing location and our incredible host made our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Thank you, Jing, for your hospitality. We hope to stay here again, soon!

The location is incredible — you truly can’t beat the proximity to the beach, dog beach, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops all within walking distance. The unit itself was the perfect space for a quick weekend getaway and had all the amenities we needed. We didn’t use the community space or hot tub, but they looked clean and well-maintained. One heads-up: if you're parking a mid-size or larger vehicle in the garage, be prepared for a very tight fit. The garage is located around the corner in an alley, and some cars turn in blindly, which could be a bit risky — so just use extra caution. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’d definitely book again!

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.

This is a great place directly across from the Ocean Front Walk. The neighborhood is older as is the building but the condo is roomy, the mirrored wall in the living room reflects the outdoor view from the large windows which does include an ocean view. When it was time for the sunset, we just had to walk out the building door onto the boardwalk steps away. It was a collective effervescence moment to see all ages stopped with their eyes to the horizon taking in the sunset. This area is SO walkable and there is no shortage of cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. The condo itself is spotless, the hosts are super responsive, the kitchen is large and roomy with tons of counterspace and a full-size refrigerator. Plus, there are little touches like the LED fireplace, portable cooling unit, mobile wardrobe, and the lighted bathroom mirrors with anti-fog. We would stay again.
