The care taken to honor the atmosphere of the original 1910 house creates a feeling of another time and place. The house is secluded in a prize winning garden and approached through a stone pergola. This remodeled apartment is in a quiet pocket of the vibrant Hillcrest neighborhood - walking distance to shopping/eateries/bars and central to attractions like Balboa Park/Zoo, SeaWorld, beaches, Gaslamp/Convention Center. The sunny unit is above our garage, connected to the main house yet separated by a breezeway with its own private entrance. The bedroom has a king-sized bed, the TV room has a queen-sized sofa couch, there's a walk in shower and coffee bar w/refrigerator and microwave.

Dog friendly in heart of Hillcrest

This is a dog friendly home with no extra dog fees and a great backyard that is strictly yours and your pups to enjoy. Airbnb calls it a guest suite but it is one room that is attached to the back of my house with private entrance, deck, private bath, microwave, frig, keurig machine with pods (no kitchen) and one free off street parking space big enough to fit a Ford F-150 trucK. There is some highway noise outside but windows are double-paned, so quiet inside. Smoking is fine outside.
