On the border between Gästrikland and Dalarna, next to Edsken's campground and swimming area, our cozy cottage is located next to our main building. Edsken is one of three lakes, Edsken-Fullen-Grycken, that are connected to each other and are excellent for paddling, fishing for perch and pike. In winter, a 4.5-mile long ice rink is plowed on the lakes. 45 minutes to Kungsberget. 60 minutes to Romme Alpin. 9 km from the cottage is one of Sweden's most beautiful golf courses. It is close to forest trails, nice exercise trails and bike trails

Cozy cottage in the countryside

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful oasis with lake views in the countryside. Here you are close to forests, lakes and hiking trails. The newly-renovated cottage has its own patio, barbecue area, fireplace, shower, toilet, kitchen and up to 6 beds. Suitable for couples and friends as well as for families. The cottage is located on a farm, which may mean that the host is at home and staying on the same farm, however, the cottage itself is a bit away from the residential building. Parking space is included. Welcome!

Lanthandeln i Hoo

Just outside Torsåker's community lies this gem that was once the village's country store. Nowadays, it has been carefully renovated into a year-round residence. A place for recovery. The surroundings provide good conditions for both summer and winter activities. The summer period offers swimming in Lake Malmjärn, 5 km from the house. Berry and mushroom forests are immediately adjacent to the property. During the winter period, there are good opportunities for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and skating.

Two large verandas in both directions, where you can enjoy morning sun as evening sun and a fantastic sunset. It is less than 50 meters to the jetty with a wood-fired sauna and only 300 meters to the nearest beach. Boat with electric motor and canoes are available. One hour to both Romme Alpin and Kungsberget and if you like ice swimming as much as we do, the ice hole is open all winter.

Visthuset - historical cottage at Långnäs Manor

Our cottage, called Visthuset by Långnäs Herrgård (Långnäs Manor), is an old larder from the 19th century. In early 2000s it was renovated and used as permanent residence for some years. Since then it has been a self-catered holiday rental for up to 4 persons. The cottage is situated by the lake Stor-Gösken, roughly 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club first tee and Hofors Padel. Summer accommodation by the lake – private apartment in part of a house

Idylliskt vid sjön i Gammelstilla, egen lägenhet I DEL AV STORT HUS beläget 25 m från en liten badplats. Huset är ett vackert 1800-tals hus med flera avskilda delar och flera ingångar. I DELEN VI HYR UT finns stort rum med öppen spis, dubbelsäng, bäddsoffa, matbord för fyra personer. I köket finns elspis och vedspis, kyl/frys, micro mm. Utomhusdusch, utedass samt potta inomhus. Lakan och handdukar medtages. Täcken och kuddar finns. Nära boendet finns mycket att se och uppleva.

Boende närmare vattnet är svårt att hitta. Att ta båten eller vintertid gå ut till Holmen utanför för att grilla och se på solnedgången är ett extra plus. 2 supboard finns att hyra, samt elmotor till båten. Se även min guidebok som finns i min profil. Internet fungerar bra med mobilt bredband via Telia m.fl. VINTERINFO: Romme Alpin och Kungsberget är slalombackar 65 km bort. Ryllshyttebacken är en trevlig familjebacke 12 km bort.

Welcome to Hofors and our fantastic house which consists of two apartments. The upper floor of 150 sqm is for rent. We live at the lower level so just ask us if you have any questions. Sheets and towels are included. Välkommen till Hofors och vårt fantastiska hus som består av två lägenheter. Övre plan på 150 kvm är för uthyrning. Vi bor på nedre plan så vi hjälper till med alla era funderingar. Lakan och handdukar ingår.
