La ubicación de Casa del Mar son únicas para disfrutar de algunos de los puntos de mayor interés en Holbox como Punta Cocos, avistamiento de aves donde el rey del barrio es el flamimgo y experimentar la bioluminiscencia coronada con la mejor vista a la vía láctea en luna nueva. La casa se integra perfectamente en su entorno, disfrutamos del desayuno con una vista desde el comedor que inicia sobre la altura de las copas de los árboles para observar la playa cercana hasta dar con la línea de horizonte al mar, entonces el roof garden es un observatorio con alberca incluida, por lo el dilema diario se convertía en salir a explorar la isla o quedarse a disfrutar de una mariscada zarandeada en el asador para ver caer la puesta de sol desde la terraza. Todos los encargados de la casa fueron súper amables y atentos, siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos. Dicen que los que visitan Holbox se quedan más tiempo de lo planeado o regresan, nosotros regresaremos a Casa del Mar.

This place was amazing! The house is clean and spacious. Perfect location, away from busy from traffic but only a couple minute walk to the beach and about 10-15 minutes walk along the beautiful beachside into town. The pool was great and we lounged on the deck with the neighboring iguana. WiFi was fine and the place had pretty much everything we needed.

Súper bien cuidados estaban al pendiente de nosotros y muy amigables y atentos súper el lugar si volveríamos a quedarnos !!!

Pepe, l'host è stato eccezionale. Sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa: chiamare un taxi, ordinare una pizza, cercare escursioni da fare... La casa è bellissima. Tutto perfetto. A parte l'isola nel periodo in cui siamo stati noi era invivibile per le zanzare che non permettevano di passeggiare o stare fuori per più di 4 secondi. Inoltre le strade erano allagate e non percorribili a piedi. È un peccato perché l'isola sarebbe bella ma con queste condizioni devi stare o chiuso in casa o dentro l'acqua del mare e quindi non puoi realmente viverla.

es una casa increíble, la alberca está muy limpia, tiene fácil acceso a la playa, con mucha privacidad y todo muy limpio, los utensilios de cocina muy prácticos y útiles, la recomiendo mucho, mi familia quedó encantada con el lugar y la atención, el anfitrión muy atento a nuestras necesidades en todo momento

Todo muy bien con el hogar y la atención por parte de Mónica, solo que había muchos moscos y eso hacía insoportable salir a la alberca y cada que pedíamos un taxi teníamos que salir corriendo por que por enfrente y de lado había mucha hierba que atraía a los moscos de forma exagerada.

We came with our three children for a week. It was a little nerve wracking, as there aren’t pictures of all the spaces so we didn’t know what we were in for. But it was an open-floor plan living area with two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. Each one had a spacious bath, and there are two half baths. So many outdoor spaces to hang in, and the pool and garden were terrific; so shady and beautiful! We enjoyed coming back to the house during the hottest part of the day so the children could be out of the sun or nap. The walk to the closest beach is a matter of minutes; we used Cafe Del Mar many days to eat and use the beach chairs. We definitely felt welcomed and the helpers on site were fantastic. The house needed a lot of airing out when we arrived, it was musty and that was hard to get used to, running the ac units helped a lot, but if your sensitive to that kind of thing it may be a deal breaker. Town is about a 15 min walk, coffee shop 8 min. Over all we were very happy.

El lugar era tal cual se describe y muestra en las fotos, muy cómodo, todo excelente, muy recomendado si quieres tener tranquilidad es el lugar perfecto, de igual manera la alberca le da un gran plus para relajarte.

Encantada con el lugar! La atención es excelente: todos los días estaban a disposición por si necesitábamos algo, nos brindaron información sobre actividades turísticas y lugares dónde comer, además nos dieron info sobre tours a buen precio y pudimos alquilar bicicletas por el día mucho más barato que en el centro. Además nos ofrecieron disfrutar la pileta qué no teníamos incluida. La zona tranquila, la playa más cercana es hermosa! Está cerca de Punta Cocos. Al centro se llega caminando tranquilamente. La casa es linda, la habitación es grande y tiene bastante espacio de guardado, el baño bien, la ducha es grande y cuenta con buena presión, la cocina-living es un espacio amplio, tiene lo necesario para cocinar para dos y utensilios básicos. El WiFi funciona de diez, trabajé desde allí y funcionó muy bien. Volvería sin dudas !

La casa era muy linda, amplia y acogedora. Estaba bien ubicada, solo a unas cuadras del centro y playa. Comercio cerca. La casa estaba limpia, sabanas y toallas impecables. Nos gustó mucho alojarnos en la casa, volveríamos felices. Alan muy amable, respondía rápido y nos ayudó con datos para hacer tour. Nuestra estadía estuvo perfecta. Solo faltan utensilios en la cocina para mejorar.

Wow. I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough... we were 5 adults total and one baby... the campus of both houses was perfect for our group. The houses each are spacious with very cool decor and the pools/sun decks make this place an absolute oasis. Mostly though, this Airbnb was as special as it was due to Daniela!! She made us feel right at home... including flexible check-in and check-out when our plans abruptly changed last minute. She was laid-back but super professional... checked in regularly (but not intrusively lol) to ensure we had what we needed and to offer any recommendations or services she could arrange for us. Also, the maintenance crew keeps that place looking new and refreshed daily. This was truly a great Airbnb experience and we are grateful for the attention and care Daniela and her team provided. AMAZING!!!!

This spot is truly magical and the staff was awesome. All rooms had great AC and were comfortable. Literally the best place on the island for watching the sunset was right in the front yard. The water (mere steps from the house) is quite shallow and the waves were very mild, so great for kids. The folks who come and clean everyday were such a treat and they were very responsive if ever there were issues. The raccoon issue is very real, so would be mindful about leaving any food or anything outside.

Beautiful, private home right on the beach! Walkable to downtown, convenience store, restaurants, etc. The ocean was perfect for swimming and the sandy bottom goes out far! Our pool was also very refreshing. Beach bags and pool towels were provided. The bedrooms are all very nice and large, all with their own well stocked bathrooms. All rooms in this home have great views of the ocean! The kitchen is also well stocked, with plenty of seating and open to the family room. We had several flight problems causing us to arrive a day late. Rene was so kind and offered to have complimentary yummy pizzas delivered to us! Both Rene and Sonia were very helpful with organizing transportation for us, and recommending places to go during our stay. I would highly recommend staying in this amazing home! Thank you again Rene and Sonia for your generosity, kindness, and making us want to come back and stay in your beautiful home!

Absolutely perfect. The house is great, big spacious rooms with comfie beds. The property is amazing with perfect white sand stretching from the door all the way to the ocean. The location couldn't be better with cute little beach bars and restaurants in both directions and being only a few blocks from the town center. Holbox is quite lively and you can hear music and festivities through the night, but close the doors and the rooms remain peaceful and quiet. The racoons and coatis might also pay you a visit if you stay up late enough. They're totally harmless! Just don't leave any food or trash out.

We love staying at Casa De Mia. It was our second time. The location is just outside of downtown so it is nice and quiet but a quick 5 minute walk to the centre. The roof top terrace is beautiful and the perfect way to unwind after a hot beach day thanks to the plunge pool. The hosts are very kind and quick to respond if you run into anything. Would stay here again!

This was definitely one of the best places to stay in Holbox. Although we had some power issues due to a fire that occurred downtown during our first day, the hosts were always responsive and willing to help. The place has a nice view and the location is perfect just minutes away from Punta Cocos where you can also enjoy the bioluminescence without paying for any tour! I would definitely come back!
