Judith was incredibly helpful and accommodating and her place is the ideal location for a trip to Amsterdam - only a v short bus and metro ride to get into the centre of the city. The apartment has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The area is gorgeous and it was lovely to get the opportunity to experience a more rural area outside the busy city. 100% recommend!

Wilhemina is an absolutely wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the moment I booked, she provided detailed information and checked in about our arrival time. The room was beautifully prepared with thoughtful touches like local tourist brochures for Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Despite inaccessible kitchen, she generously provided complimentary breakfast each morning, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The location is truly special for nature lovers - peaceful and surrounded by greenery where you can truly unwind. However, future guests should be aware of a few practical considerations: there are stairs to navigate with luggage (pack light if possible), and the property is about 30km from Amsterdam city center. While accessible by public transport (metro + bus or two buses), the journey takes time, and evening/night bus frequency reduces to 30-60 minute intervals. This is a perfect retreat for travelers who prioritize tranquility.

Our stay with Isabel was wonderful. Her place is charming and vibrant. The gardens and pool are gorgeous. Breakfast in the garden was amazing - delicious and fresh and in a perfect setting. Isabel was friendly and warm and responsive, while still giving us our privacy. The house was a great home base for our exploration of beautiful Texel.

It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. We had our bikes with us and discovered many beautiful spots on earth in the area (Hoorn❤️) Thanks for the nice break. 💐💫Best regards, Sabine and Hartmut

It was a wonderful stay at Vidi, I would love to come back. Alkmaar, the great city, its cafes and restaurants invited you to linger and the nearby surroundings to the North Sea, as well as the associated bike tour through the dunes of Bergen, Schoorl and Groet were unforgettably beautiful and I will remember with pleasure. In a beautiful location is the house of Dirk-Jan, a very friendly host. You feel immediately welcome and he also provides a nice breakfast with a toast during breakfast as a highlight :) From the house you can walk to Volendam, which we thought was ideal.

What a pleasant welcome by Marianne at the kitchen table with tea, treats and explanation of the hotspots of the island! We only wanted to exchange the car for our rental bikes (with the neighbor), but could already go to the room earlier than planned. Marianne: “Come in!” Very nice! We stayed in room 2/3. Marianne helped us (from home) very quickly with rebooking after I booked room 1 and she advised that 2/3 is better suited for friends (not a couple). Beautiful cozy lady that consists of 2 rooms. We made good use of the kitchen. All supplies were provided. Glad there was also a dining table and sofa in the room. Lovely bed too! Bathroom in the hallway that was simple, but very nice that it was privately available to us. Oh..and I almost forget the fresh eggs at the bottom of the stairs in the morning. :) Nice cozy location in the cozy Den Hoorn (a village to fall in love with).

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. We loved our stay at Bianca’s place! The surrounding area is peaceful and rural, and not far from the beach/sea. There is a bus to the train station in Hoorn, though it doesn’t run late. We didn’t have a car but got along fine by bus/walking. Great place for a family stay. The alpacas and other animals were so cute! We were all quite taken with them, and we all had our favorites. Breakfast was really good - fresh farm breakfast with homemade yogurt and jams, and eggs from the farm. Bianca is super friendly and helpful! We would recommend Bianca’s place to anyone!

Jacob is really friendly,talkative man who offers beatiful rooms with nice view in a beatiful location (close to the train and boat). Rooms and bathroom were beatiful and clean. And breakfest was awesome!

Nicky and Danny are very lovely hosts who have a great B + B. Everything in-house, great decor and very tastefully furnished. The room was very nice and everything had its place. Also the small bathroom was clean and tidy. We were received in a very friendly manner. Could use the garden and the premises. We especially enjoyed the fun and interesting conversations with Danny and Nicky in their dining room in the evening. Breakfast was prepared by Nicky with a lot of love and very varied. There was everything that was part of a great breakfast. We had a very nice time with Nicky and Danny. The place is highly recommended.

Really nice place, nice people, tasty breakfast and best of all: Chicken in the Garden!

We had an amazing stay at Miko’s place! Every morning we were suprised with new breakfasy basket, which we loved. Miko is a great host and we would only reccomend staying at this amazing place, just in front of forest and easy access to the beach. We will be back!

Great place to stay, Nice experience such an outdoor shower. Neatly cared for and a delicious breakfast. Within walking distance of downtown and plenty to do in Schoorl.

Very nice place. Two minutes walk to a sandy beach where we could swim in shallow water in the morning but still do our laps. Enjoy the noisy frog communication in the evening. It was nice that there were good wine and champagne glasses in addition to the coffee and tea. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday with a delicious breakfast at the end. Thank you thank you!

Great! A beautiful, well-maintained, nature campsite in an open space in/on the edge of a large forest with all kinds of waterways. The conservatory at the campsite is great, with a bar, tables and chairs, wood stove and lounge area. A great place to easily make contact. The Warthog family is great, very comfortable in the middle of nature due to the large windows. Everything is present, including a mini wood stove with a mini poker and scoop. A fantastic breakfast with fresh products from the area is included, with extra ingredients and recipe for a unique egg dish. 2 nights here was really too short! next time maybe with our own caravan, seems like a lot of fun to me too. Finally, what really stood out is that everyone there is so friendly, even in the area!
