If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. De Woude is so cute and quaint. THANK YOU for sharing your space, Leigh-Anne! 🫶🏼

The houseboat itself is a dream and superbly located, if on the one hand you love the beauty and tranquility of the countryside, sheep and green meadows on your doorstep, but on the other hand also like to go to the beach or to the cities. The train is quickly reached and that is a big plus in the parking situation in Amsterdam. Leonora and Erwin were easy to reach and always there for us when we had questions. Super friendly hosts! Thank you so much dear ones!

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

Super nice stay in a quiet location. Especially bring your children, there are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden is a mega hit. The house is full of comforts, lovely underfloor heating, open garden, where you can hear and admire the woodpecker, blackbird and other birds. You can walk in the environment. Laura responds quickly and has fun tips for the area. Recommended!

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended

Absolutely brilliant houseboat. Super nicely decorated - very modern - equipped with everything you need. It was sparkling clean and cozy. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the life on the houseboat very much (a great experience). The boat includes a sup, which we tried despite the season. In and around the boat is very quiet and yet you are almost in the middle of it - it is only a few meters to the actual place. Really great: the supermarket is right across the street. Anita and Diedert are great and very attentive hosts, whom we did not meet in person but the communication with them was excellent. We would love to come again.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it was very fresh with a glimpse of the local life.I also enjoyed walking and biking around the area.The space was very clean and tidy, and at night it was a very relaxing space to see the stars through the ceiling windows and the birds chirping in the morning.I wanted to do yoga in a very beautiful garden, and when I consulted, they happily lent me a yoga mat.That experience was the highlight of our trip.Dax and Willemijn were friendly and quick to respond, which was helpful.Thank you :)

This was the perfect place to recover from the stress of air travel before continuing with our trip. The loft was beautifully decorated, and everything we needed was provided. The grocery store was a short drive away, and we were able to prepare a simple dinner and relax in comfort. We enjoyed our coffee the following morning in the company of deer, ducks, and rabbits. Such a peaceful place to be! Everything was so well-organized and getting settled could not have been easier. There’s more to the Netherlands than Amsterdam, and I’m happy we explored this beautiful area!

We enjoyed it very much and we felt very comfortable. Right in front of the house, is the home of a goat and three rabbits as well as the playground. Perfect for the kids. The children could get out on their own and you still had them in view. The house was clean, heating and hot water available. Everything was fine.

I booked the space for a German colleague and he was in love with the apartment. The sleeping area is especially fantastic. Shopping center around the corner, station 10 minutes' walk and in 20 minutes by bike you are in Alkmaar or Egmond aan Zee. Astrid was very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy chalet in Holland! The place was very clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything you might need – from the fully equipped kitchen to relax. The location was perfect: quiet, surrounded by nature and yet close to shopping and attractions. We especially enjoyed the hosts who were always helpful and friendly. We (two adults and two children) absolutely loved our stay at Jurriaan’s place. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything a family could need, from comfy beds to a fully equipped kitchen. Our kids adored the small terrace where they could play in the morning while we sipped coffee and soaked up the sunshine. The location is perfect, peaceful yet close to shops and attractions, and Jurriaan was always quick to respond, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more highly and would gladly return anytime!

The tiny house was very cozy and the small heater was enough to keep the tiny house nice and warm. We stayed with 2 adults and one child at Marina's place. The tiny house was the perfect size for us, was very stylishly furnished and very clean. We particularly enjoyed the wide view and the great tranquility. We can fully recommend the tiny house.

Irma was a friendly interested host, easy to get in touch with. Delicious place, it was just a little too cold to sit outside but next to the pipo wagon there is a greenhouse where it is nice to sit and delicious in terms of temperature. Cozy furnished, everything fine and definitely recommended!

We had one night in the Pipo wagon,it was really nice. This included a private bathroom,which absolutely exceeded our expectations. Super clean and very nice. In general, Marjo and Dick went the extra mile. For the rounding off, there was a lavish breakfast,which left nothing to be desired. We were really thrilled and would be happy to come back.

We really enjoyed the calm, the view with the stunning sunsets, the sheep in the field next door, the proximity to the sea (even without the beach) and the bike paths nearby. We were also able to easily get to the islands of Wadden (Texel and Terschelling), spend a day in Amsterdam and enjoy the beautiful beaches in the dunes on the west coast not far away. And we went to watch the seals at sea as close as possible. We strongly recommend to disconnect and be quiet.

I was there with a friend and our 2 dogs recently. It was just great! From arrival to departure. Everything was hassle-free and completely relaxed, the host was always available and you felt right at home. You will find everything nearby without long car trips. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet, we can only recommend it! We will definitely be back!

The tiny house is located on a nice camping side. The room is cozy and the kitchen and bathroom simple but nice. It's calm and close to the dike where you can go for a walk. The shower is a gem since you have the feeling of being outside by still being private. The tiny house itself is very clean on the inside. The kitchen and bathroom needed a quick fresh up when we arrived because it's outside and there happened to be some insects. All in all we recommend the place for a calm getaway.
