There are several zones, and a lovely outdoor area with barbecue, outdoor fireplace, garden room and several seating groups. There is a short distance to the swimming area and lake, and a short walk to the city center with shops. The house has 3 floors with a basement, attic, and a large living room with dining room on the main floor. Plenty of room for two families.

We rent out our "cabin" which consists of a spacious detached house over 3 floors with a plot of 1.3 acres and views of the lake and Holmestrand. The house is located in sunny and quiet surroundings on Bjerkøya, with nice hiking opportunities and swimming areas nearby. The house is surrounded by a large garden and terrace of about 100 m2 with a sheltered "patio" with built-in benches and heat lamp, where you can relax and enjoy life almost all year round.

The guest house is from 1910 and was built as Eidsfos Verk's office. Since then, the house was converted into a motel and in recent years has been Hovedgården's guest house.
