Holiday rentals with a kayak in Honeoye Lake

Our group had the loveliest stay, and Rich was a fantastic host. Was so nice to meet him and his pups! Felt right at home and was able to have a private reunion with friends on the water. The location and space was beautiful. Appreciated having a grill and kitchen full of appliances! Would gladly stay here again.

Jill's place was perfect for celebrating a special occaison! The location is picture perfect and there is everything you could ask for! Great communication and very clean and organized! We highly recommend for anyone travelling to Seneca Lake!

The house was just as described! Comfortable with lots of space. There were two bedrooms and two living room areas with pull out couches. We went to a few of the wineries around; there was a lot to choose from! We loved sitting on the dock. Only things worth noting are the parking situation, where 5 cars are all that is allowed to be parked in the driveway. This wasn’t mentioned in the listing, but the owner messaged a few days ahead of time to let us know. This could be difficult if you’re having 12 people. There is an additional spot across the street where we were able to fit one more car, but it may not be enough space. Consider carpooling! My party didn’t care, but there were a LOT of dead bugs in the doorways, which could be hard to avoid at a lake house but felt like it was missed during cleaning. There were some dishes left in the sink and the dishwasher & the grill was pretty dirty, so it was also just missed during cleaning. Otherwise, our stay was great & we’d stay again!

Pete’s place was perfect for our short stay to attend a concert at CMAC nearby. Home had plenty of space, was very clean, and had everything we needed. Pete was an excellent host, very attentive and friendly! We would definitely book again for a future concert.

The house was absolutely beautiful with an even more beautiful view, the kayaks and paddle boards were easily accessible and were a ton of fun on the lake, Mary was a great host. We had some weather related incidents and she responded within minutes. The only negative thing I could say is, we should’ve booked it for longer, we didn’t want to leave. It was very fun weekend!

Fantastic property right on the water. Quaint, squeaky clean cottage with all the amenities. King master bedroom was incredibly spacious and perfect for sleeping in - so quiet! Smaller second bedroom with twin beds is perfect for kids - adults (i.e. second couple) might find it cramped though. The pups loved the spacious yard and it is a nice little neighborhood for a morning and evening walk. We didn’t use the jacuzzi, but I imagine it is a great option if you use them - and the sunsets are indeed incredible. Host does a super job of providing extra towels and just about everything you can think of for a lake holiday. But best of all is the easy access to all the wineries and breweries within a stone’s throw…some of the very best of the Finger Lakes offering is on Seneca Lake. Really loved our stay and will absolutely return.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The house was incredibly warm and welcoming, stocked with every amenity imaginable, Kathryn and Tim thought of everything! The view of the lake was stunning, and we loved spending quiet moments just gazing out the large front window. One of our favorite memories was gathering around the fire pit one evening making s’mores and enjoying quality time together. The spacious backyard was perfect for our dog to explore and stretch his legs. Kathryn was wonderful—so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone looking for some solitude and a beautiful place to enjoy a peaceful getaway. You can be in Naples, NY in 10 min or less for a few restaurants, etc. and Canandaigua is only 25 min north. Everything was lovely and just as advertised.

Was a beautiful place. Quite had plenty of good fire wood and very clean place. Neighbors were great enclosed front porch was great to eat and be able to look at lake. Nice air conditioning though out home. Will definitely visit again. Steve was a wonderful host. 5 stars I.n my book

Our second time - was as wonderful as first.

This was our second stay at John and Shelly's lake house and it was WONDERFUL! Shelly remembered it would be my mom's birthday as well as father's day, and left a note with some goodies to welcome us. We loved kayaking as a family, enjoying the firepit, and the porch was our favorite place for breakfast, afternoon snacks/cocktails, and dinner. This is such a wonderful home with phenomenal hosts, and we can't wait to come back next year! Highly recommend this peaceful getaway!

Cozy Clark Cottage was all we could have wanted for a long stay at the lake. The location was the perfect mix of privacy and convenience. Set far back on a secondary lane and not visible from the main road, but only a couple minute drive into town for groceries, a pharmacy, a huge wooden playground, a library, bank, post office, bakery (amazing!), the quaintest brewery, and more. The region itself is breathtaking with tons to do! We thoroughly loved playing in the large yard. The lake is beautiful and we went to the water’s edge every single day - rain or shine - to skip stones, wait (& wait) for fish to bite, and search for tiny shells and “fairy glass.” The fire pit provided welcomed heat on chilly evenings, as did the wood-burning stove inside. One of our favorite features was the climb up nook with a double bed where my kids rotated who would be the designated occupants. Beds were comfortable and we all woke well-rested for each day’s adventures. This spot is a gem!

Our stay at Bear Camp was amazing. The view was fantastic, good fishing, easy to get into the lake with our kayaks, lovely porch to sit and relax and a clean, adorable cabin to stay in. What a gem. highly recommend this place and Honeoye Lake

Great remote spot about 10 minutes from downtown Hanmondsport. Stacey was very proactive in communicating with us. There was a considerable amount of rain prior to our stay so she worked very hard to make sure the driveway was cleared for us to drive through. (The driveway is wooded leading up to the house.) It’s a cozy spot, great for just a few people. The view was great on the back deck and made for relaxing starts to the morning.

I can’t say enough about Kathi & this cabin! She’s everything you’d want from a host - lovely, knowledgeable & gave the best tips! She was extremely accommodating, responsive & just an excellent host. The “cozy cabin” on Wells is just that & such a special place. The property is beautiful, peaceful & so inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast on the pergola overlooking the pond in the morning & relaxing by the fire at night. You could do nothing else & have the time of your life but you’re also close to lots of lakes, waterfalls, wineries & quaint towns with cute shops so there is plenty to keep you occupied should you want to keep busy. Besides being picturesque, the cabin was spotless & had all the amenities you could ever need. In fact, they even supply extra toiletries in case you forgot something & wine if you’d like to partake. Such thoughtful touches! This was a bucket list trip for us & a much needed recharge. We were sad to leave but can’t wait to go back!

Great little spot by beautiful Lake Conesus. Convenient location, the space was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few day stay! Donald was great with communication and quick to respond when we needed the heat turned on. Recommended!

Great place to unwind for a weekend in a remote private location in the woods. If you’re looking for peace and quiet or to just get away for a while this is the perfect place. Our dog was in heaven wandering through the various trails tracking all the different smells. We came up in the winter with the ground covered in snow. Even though it was extremely cold outside we were toasty and cozy with the wood stove going. Would definitely come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Loon Cottage! The house is super clean and charming. We loved the open layout, it was perfect for relaxing all together. We loved the outdoor area as well. The deck is beautiful and the kids loved the fire pit. The gradual shoreline was perfect for our kids. No need to worry about a steep drop off. They could just walk in the water as far as they felt comfortable. They enjoyed the kayaks very much! Adam was very responsive and we appreciated him checking in on us after a bad storm. We hope to stay again sometime! Thank you Adam and Melissa!

Our stay was great! So so quiet you can hear a pin drop. Being by the river was great, we got to see new baby goslings and watch people go by on kayaks. The place is very peaceful, and right down the road from a few different winery’s! The neighborhood wasn’t the most vibrant part of town, but it had its own atmosphere and views on the drive were breathtaking. Also good thing to note—the next door neighbor has a beautiful Great Dane who likes to pace the dividing fence and sometimes barks pretty loud and gets excited. Great dog, on an electric fence, but just for anyone who has reactive dogs or sensitive dogs, definitely something to consider.

Michael’s cabin was a hidden gem! New, very clean, looked just like the photos. We were impressed with the well stocked kitchen. He had everything we needed to cook several meals while we were there. Our favorite spot was on the screened in porch. The canal was a peaceful place to be! Thanks Michael for letting us rest and unwind at your cabin.
