Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. There are many natural sightseeing spots nearby, such as the Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. The building from the early days of the town has been stylishly renovated using natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster.We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the snow-covered winter, you'll have a stunning view of the silver silver.Snowshoeing in the footsteps of animals and go out for a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the winter at the east house on the banks of the creek. This accommodation is limited to one group per day called "Private Resort Fuji" in a villa area 11 minutes on foot from Lake Yamanaka, renovated by a designer in July 2024. It is a Japanese modern design house based on a total floor area of 115 ㎡, 3LDK cabins. When you go up to the second floor, you can see the large Mt. Fuji from the window of the living room, BBQ on the large balcony on the back of Mt. Fuji, and after enjoying the barrel sauna surrounded by trees, you can take a bath in the forest in the resting space outside.The yard has a large fire pit where you can even talk around the fire.In addition, there is a high fence in the garden, so if you bring your dog, you don't have to worry about running away. The room has a large 90-inch screen, where you can enjoy Prime Video, Youtube, and more.At night, you can also see the starry sky if the conditions are right.

This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. This is the Kominka style BNB in Yamanakako. “Hirano no Hama” A 8 min walk to the breathtaking view of Mt Fuji overlooking the lake. Only a 5 min walk from the Hirano highway bus terminal to connect “Busta Shinjuku” / Tokyo Sta. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.
