The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Our non-smoking apartment is located in the small hamlet "Absenreute" of the municipality of Horgenzell in the district of Ravensburg. The 1-room attic apartment is about 40sqm large, has a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment is partly newly ecologically renovated and furnished in such a way that 1-2 people can comfortably stay and take care of themselves. Shopping opportunities for everyday needs are in Horgenzell (4km) or Weingarten/Ravensburg (14km)

My accommodation is located in the countryside near the historic old town of Ravensburg. Lake Constance (e.g. Friedrichshafen ) can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Shopping facilities are in the vicinity (1 to 3 km). You'll love my place because you can look up to Lake Constance and the Alps in good weather. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, coffee maker, and much more. My place is great for couples, solo travelers, and business travelers

Coffee maker, kettle and toaster are also available. Private parking is right by the house. It is an ideal starting point for day trips around Lake Constance or for the numerous trade fairs and events here in the area.
