The Nest Danehill - Idyllic Woodland Retreat

KateRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at The Nest was idyllic. Serena was there to meet us when we arrived and provided us with the warmest of welcomes. She showed us the accommodation and explained the features and appliances, as well as giving us some local recommendations for restaurants, shops and trips out. Serena also made sure we knew to contact her should we need anything else. We were delighted to find bread, milk, butter, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, toiletries and other essentials already provided! The accommodation itself is beautiful. It looks even better than the pictures show and contains everything you could need. The view from The Nest is picturesque and the surrounding area is very peaceful. I can't recommend The Nest enough. Serena is an exceptional host who has gone to great lengths to create such a wonderful space in which to spend a few days of calm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Nest to anyone who wishes to explore the stunning Sussex countryside.

Swanky & Spacious Luxury 3 Bed

AliciaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The flat was perfect for our family visit! We used to live in Uckfield and moved 15 years ago. This location was literally within walking distance of our family and friends, as well as loads of restaurants! The flat is beautiful and full of natural light! We traveled with our two teenage boys and this worked perfectly as they each had their own rooms so that they could take time to chill. The hosts have truly thought of everything here... not only is there a full kitchen, but they supply dishes, glasses, mugs and cooking materials! We wanted for nothing during the stay! There were even multiple games available, as well as a list of recommendations for the area! We will happily recommend to all of our friends and will most certainly be back!!

The water sing definitely did not disappoint! Beautifully decorated and sat upon a gorgeous lake full of lily pads and fish. If you’re looking for a place to switch off that’s peaceful and relaxing I 100% recommend a visit!

Converted pigsties

KatherineRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We highly recommend staying at The Pigsties - it’s a beautiful place and exceeded our expectations! It is the ideal location for anyone attending an event at Hendall Manor Barns (just 3mins down the road) whilst perfectly located to explore Ashdown Forest. The Pigsties were perfect for cosying up in winter weather but we can imagine they’d be lovely in the summer too. Lucy was incredibly welcoming and helpful and the bread and croissants from the Home Farm bakery were absolutely delicious too! We’ll be back!

Gorgeous converted oast house in rural Sussex

SusanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Oast House has been beautifully restored. Directions were straightforward. It is in a very peaceful setting, with easy access to many areas of Sussex. It was spotlessly clean and a pleasure to spend time in. Grateful thanks to our hosts for the goodies left for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Oast House and will happily book again if we are in the area.
