Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Horta

Pictures don’t do Justice to this place, if you’re in Pico look no further, it’s next to a vineyard is a big house with all the facilities including a washing machine and the communication with Robert was very good. It’s a 15 min drive to the main area and is close to the beach and a hiking spot. Would love to come back, the sunsets are mesmerizing.

Charming little house perfect for our family staying for a few days in Faial. Very clean accommodation with the amenities and equipment required to make our stay enjoyable. We had a car which allowed us to access the different sites to visit or hikes to do (car required in our opinion). Perfect location to be in the front row at sunset over the sea. We would return to Ana's without hesitation.

Absolutely amazing place for a couple of days of relaxation. The top balcony is great as you can see the sun set and enjoy the sea view while having dinner. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and even gives you coffee capsules and a water just in case. 5 stars

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Airbnb above Madelena. It was a great choice to stay on the outskirts. Stunning view from the house: lovely to spend time outside with a book or just watching the sun set over the ocean and island. The house itself is very comfortable and had everything we needed.

The apartment is very nicely decorated and in a great location. The view from the large panoramic windows is the highlight, but the apartment's furnishings are also very good. The only disadvantage is the high humidity in the bedroom and the associated musty smell. However, this can be easily managed by consistently using the air conditioning (as described by Ana). Insects are also a frequent guest, but this was also the case in other apartments in the Azores and can hardly be avoided. We had a very nice time here and can recommend the apartment without hesitation. The contact with Ana was also great, very friendly and always helpful.

We absolutely loved this house! Beatriz provided us with a lot of useful information about the area and about Pico. She was also very generous in providing us with Azorean food. The apartment had plenty of everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were very flexible in our case. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the garden, the sea and Sao Jorge island. In the surroundings there are pools, bars, restaurants, a museum and hiking trails that can easily be accessed without a car (though we strongly recommend one for discovering Pico).

madalena's apartment is just a few kilometers from Madalena do Pico. This can be an ideal solution if you move by car, unfortunately on foot it would be a little uncomfortable to reach and nearby there are no supermarkets and restaurants. Madalena was very friendly and available at check-in, the apartment is large, very clean and perfectly matches the description. We would come back right away ;)

Great Airbnb with an amazing view to Faial. The house is very cozy with a comfortable bed, very calm and well equipped kitchen. The highlight was the whirlpool and the friendliness of Brigitte and her husband. They helped us with everything and had very good recommendations for the region and also brought us some fresh milk from the farm as we love this. Highly recommendable and we will definitely come back again. :)

Beautiful place to stay on the outskirts of town. Quiet, clean, lived the balcony and view. There are roosters that crow in the mornings, we enjoyed that.

Andreia was such a friendly and caring host. The apartment was beautifully furnished and very cozy. The kitchen is really perfect and left nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable and were able to contact Andreia at any time if we needed anything. The apartment is highly recommended, it was perfect!

Very good hospitality from Paula and Joao who were accommodating regarding our arrival time and helped us to collect our vehicle. The house is in a good location, accessible by car from the port of Madalena and close to the airport. We had a lovely stay! I would highly recommend it.

Very nice, spacious accommodation with an optimal living room, bright and very functional. We also highlight the ease of check-in and check-out, and the friendliness of the host.

The apartment was as described, the hostess always easily accessible and helpful. The apartment is a bit outdated and could be renovated, but it was not described otherwise. Overall, we were very satisfied. Only in the kitchen it was not very hygenic. The location was very quiet, about 20 minutes walk to Madalena

Ola Agostina! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and perfectly located—just a short walk from everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the accommodation looked exactly like the photos, if not better. Agostinha Maria was a truly exceptional host—kind, generous, and attentive. She welcomed us with everything we could possibly need for breakfast: fresh eggs, bread, jam, butter, fruit, cheese, coffee, and even two bottles of wine as a delightful bonus. Her thoughtful hospitality made us feel right at home. She also shared fantastic local dining recommendations and gave us access to a fully equipped summer kitchen, which added to the charm of our stay. Perfect location in the heart of Horta. Easy to walk to the marina and all the restaurants and bars. The apartment was spotless and extremely spacious. Host is very responsive and extremely helpful. Excellent home for your visit to Faial.

Eunice was an amazing host. She was always responsive, helpful and very kind. We had issues with the lock box and within 10 min she had the matter solved. We would definitely recommend Eunice as a host!

Great stay on Failal! The accommodation has everything you need, it is clean and is nicely located in ‘Varadouro‘; you can even walk to the natural pool by the sea. The host gives you a lot of information and tips and is easily accessible! Recommended!!

nice place to stay, nice new apartment with well equipped kitchen and good beds. I also find the plus point that there are screens in front of the windows so that no insects come in and you can sleep with the window open:) (sometimes a little noise from the street of cars but not bad). Good restaurants within walking distance

Great accommodation! We were very well received by Paula. She gave us very good recommendations for restaurants in the area. And what about the view at the exit of the garden, the most beautiful sunsets on the island!
