Beautiful place inside out. Very well located in between the view of Pico and the sea. We couldn’t find a better place to visit the island.

We loved the thoughtful food items left for us. The beds are firm and comfortable, and the heaters kept us warm at night. The couch was also cozy, perfect for hours of reading and enjoying the solitude. Be cautious with the entrance—it’s a narrow, steep, one-way street. Large cars might get scratched or not fit at all. A small car is ideal, but one with a weak engine may struggle. Once parked, the space is great. Finding the house was tricky, as the GPS didn’t recognize the address, but we discovered two routes to get there. There’s no dryer, so drying clothes on the rack can be challenging, especially in rainy seasons. Bring quick-dry and waterproof clothing. Carlos and Manuela provided a helpful restaurant guide, though many were closed during our visit. We explored local spots and loved the food—Aromas and Sabores in Lajes is a must! If you seek peace and seclusion, this cozy place is perfect. We never met another person during our stay.

One of the nicest, most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in!! Cannot say enough about the views, spotless and very comfortable, with attention to detail and warm greetings from the host, including wine, bread, ham and cheese when we arrived. All so thoughtful, and playing three holes of mini golf was a fun addition. Highly recommend!

Wunderschönes kleines Urlaubshäuschen im UNESCO Weltkulturerbe-Gebiet, sehr schön angelegte Außenanlage, sehr saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft mit Allem, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und das Check-In/-Out war unkompliziert. Würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Le logement que nous a proposé Catia et Miguel correspondait à nos attentes, et les photos aussi. Nous avons été accueillis par Miguel qui est une bonne personne, il est amical et nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. La location est entouré par des animaux c'est en fait une ferme rénovée et il y avait tout ce qu'on peut espérer avoir dans une location. Vraiment le top. Si nous devrions revenir sur cette île magnifique c'est chez Catia et Miguel que nous reviendrons. Merci à vous Miguel de votre gentillesse et votre accueil. Myriam et Claude

Fantastic accommodation. Very clean, had a well equipped kitchen (picnic supplies), and the pool was very refreshing. Joao and Sol were excellent hosts and provided a welcome basket with local treats on our arrival. Would highly recommend.

It was evident a lot of hard work and care went in to building this place. What a beautiful stay! We were fortunate we had perfect weather to see the mountain in the background. It was a bit intimidating before the hike to the top! However, we made it and had a nice one level place to rest our sore knees and make a delicious meal! A very memorable experience! I hope future guests have the same luck as us.

Diese Unterkunft ist top. Das Zimmer ist sauber und in der Gemeinschaftsküche haben alle ein Fach und es gibt einen Pool. Wäsche waschen kein Problem. Wir waren dort mit dem Mietwagen und hatten keine Probleme die Unterkunft zu finden. Wir sind von dort überall hingekommen. Die Lage ist toll und ruhig. Die Inhaber sind toll. Es ist den Preis wirklich wert. Wir hatten eine super entspannte Zeit.
