Chalet holiday rentals in Hudson River

It was nice staying at this Chalet. It felt home, cozy, serene and very private. Eventhough there are lots of cameras around the property but we felt safe for that. I didn't find the cameras are hampering our privacy. Only concern is you need to climb to the ladder to get into the Common Space two. So if you are big group of people then I would say that place is good for any teen boys or girls or who is athletic to climb up and down to the common space. We didn't need to use that area since we were a small group of people and we enjoyed our stay.

The house is so beautiful and unique, and there is art everywhere you look. It inspires creativity! The hot tub and pool are incredible. The house has everything you need to feel at home. It's quiet and peaceful, and the view is out of this world. This is such a wonderful place for a getaway. Our family had a great time, and we can't wait to visit again soon! Olia made sure we had everything we needed and provided great suggestions for things to do in the area. It was an amazing holiday getaway!

Camp Shady is a picturesque riverside cabin away from all distractions. There’s plenty of room for the family or a few friends. Three bedrooms containing 2 full size beds and one with two twins. Despite there being no cell service, a strong WiFi connection and smart TV left little to be desired. Whether you’re there for the outdoors or Lake George, this is a great place to stay.

Great place that was clean, comfortable and cozy. There were excellent instructions for everything and my family loved the hot tub!

This place was lovely! Super cozy, very well decorated, and hosts a wonderful view! Judi’s was kind, understanding, responsive, and all around a wonderful host. We came here for a friend’s birthday and he was blown away. Thank you for everything, and we plan to come again soon!

Mary was a super good hostess and she even left us a welcome basket full of goodies including Bogle red wine (cabernet), coffee, and other treats plus homebred brownies in the fridge! We loved the chalet and the beauty of it inside and out with the greenery of the forest and the brook which our dog, Beau, got right into it and loved it! We all enjoyed the area and the cozy home with the room to spread out and hear the rain as we were snug inside. The bed we chose to sleep in was comfy and warm and I (Carolyn) loved having coffee on the deck of a morning with Beau. We enjoyed our long walks down the road and the town of Dover was fun to visit as well as the beautiful wedding we attended over Wilmington not far away. It was a wonderful stay and we certainly love Vermont! This was our 4th stay in Vermont between the years of 2004 - now. Our first "Dog Vacation" took us to Brattleboro, Middlebury, Willoughvale with Lake Willoughby, and last summer to White River Junction and Barre. Fun!

Cozy Silo Home is a perfect description of Olga's home! The silo is really unusual, with lots of windows/lighting and is comfortable and nicely decorated. It's a short drive from Woodstock, which is a fantastic area with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. It's also very close to great hiking and other outdoor activities. At the house, we spent most of our time outside on the large balcony/patio and cooking meals on the outdoor grill. We booked last-minute and Olga was very responsive, answered all our questions and made things very easy for us. We live in NYC and a weekend in/around Woodstock is a great way to recharge and reconnect with nature. We definitely recommend Olga's silo home for a weekend or longer!! Note: stairs are required to enter into the home and to get to the bedrooms/bathrooms, so don't bring anything too bulky or heavy.

We spent a couple days here for my birthday weekend, and it was really chill and quiet! The house itself is very cozy, extremely clean, and comes with all the basics you’d need for a weekend away. The hiking trails and views in the area are gorgeous. I will absolutely be revisiting this little spot!

The cabin is warm, cozy and comfortable. It was a perfect location for a couples weekend. The kitchen is loaded with great appliances and tools so we had a great time cooking. The sauna and hot tub are an attractive addition too, we barely left the cabin all weekend. Thanks Jermaine!

This Airbnb in the Catskills was absolutely perfect, especially for such a special weekend—we got engaged in the area and couldn’t have asked for a better place to come back to and celebrate! The house is beautiful, with a stunning backyard, an amazing hot tub, and a basement full of games that kept everyone entertained. There were plenty of beds, so it was super comfortable for our group. Stephanie was incredible—she made everything so easy and was super responsive anytime we needed anything. You can tell she puts so much thought into making sure guests have a great experience. This is honestly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It felt like a mix of cozy and fun, with everything we needed to make the weekend unforgettable. Hoping to come back in the future!

We had such a nice family weekend at Eric and Kate’s house. The house was clean, beautiful and in such a great location. We will definitely be back!!

I spent a week at Fouz and Chris's place with my family (8 adults, a toddler and two dogs) and we had very relaxing, enjoyable, comfortable stay. The house is in a quiet, private area and a short distance from places of interest for hikes, restaurants, museums, historical sites, etc. We received great recommendations from the hosts.

Ron was quick to respond with any questions we had. The place is spacious and beautiful! The pool was so nice on the sunny days and we even saw a deer walk by when we were in the backyard! Would love to stay here again.

My girlfriends and I came here for a weekend (Friday night-Sunday morning) just to have a peaceful weekend away and it was delightful! The house was absolutely stunning, had every amenity we could ever need, and was so peaceful. I was so bummed that it rained all weekend (we managed to slip into the hot tub in between rain squalls) because we wanted to utilize all the fun outdoor stuff, but we still had such a good time keeping ourselves entertained inside with how spacious and stocked the house was with games, a fireplace, and a tv in the upstairs living room. Overall it was a very relaxing weekend for us all and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Also, the little convenience store down the street was so helpful and stocked with plenty of produce that we thought we would have to go to a grocery store for! Definitely recommend going there if you forget any cooking foods you may need, as we were pleasantly surprised. Definitely book if you have the chance - thank you Josh!

We really enjoyed our stay; the house was ideally situated in a private, wooded area and yet just a few minutes drive into Manchester. The views from the house were spectacular. The house had a cozy mountain chalet feel and yet equipped with a very modern kitchen. We took advantage of both the fire pit and the hot tub.

5 STARS ⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at the Gnome House. Kendell has truly thought of every detail — the house is exceptionally well-equipped and made us feel instantly at home. The architecture is stunning, blending beautifully into the surrounding nature. It’s a unique and unforgettable place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Vermont.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! We loved all the space and amenities, especially the hot tub and sauna. The host was very helpful and responsive as we were planning our trip. Half of our party had stayed there before and wanted to go back. Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay at Patti’s chalet was incredible! The home itself is beautiful and the view of the lake is breathtaking. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, which we enjoyed walking around every morning. It is also conveniently located—only 20 minutes to downtown Keene. The home is clean and boasts modern amenities. Our favorite features were the decks, fireplace, spacious kitchen, comfy couch, and the game room. The arcade and foosball table were so much fun. This stay was the perfect combination of rest, relaxation and fun. Patti was a very responsive host. We would definitely stay again!

My friends and i had the BEST weekend at this home- would HIGHLY reccommend! Beautiful lake front with lots to do around! The hosts were attentive and wonderful to coordinate with. House was clean, and beautifully decorated. Lots of games to play inside and outdoor yard activities, perfect wor whatever kind of weather you may get during your stay. This is a Stellar house, and property! The house was spotless. Check-in was simple, and the communication was excellent throughout the process. The only downside is having to take care of your own garbage by brining it to the local dump. When you have your family packed up for the weekend, it’s not very convenient to bring trash with you. Other than that single issue, this house is five stars across the board!
